Is tonight's game over before it even begins? You know, because the Knicks don't have a franchise caliber player like Yao or even McGrady.

Should they just cancel the game and give the win to the Rockets?

So you really don't have anything to say do you? It is too bad that your only goal is to irritate me. I must make you feel pretty inferior.

Get back to me when you have a basketball opinion.

oohah

So does this mean the hatchet is no longer buried?

You tell me, since you have been trying to start with me all weekend. However, even though it is obvious you are trying to pick a fight with me, I won't indulge you. I am too busy for the pettiness, and I hope you will rethink your attitude as well.

This post reminds me of someone we used to know.

Back to subject,

Can't change the lineups, this would be very Larry like!

Im suprised Isiah goes 11 men deep on most nites.

Changing lineups would be very short sited.

The team is progressing.

Franbury is bogging us down'

oohah - isiah is not going to start jerome. i do expect jerome to play but alot of minutes for jerome on any given night is 15.

My point in starting Jerome is for the very specific reason that he will challenge shots that Curry won't and he matches up size-wise with Yao better than anyone.

Also, I have a feeling Yao will shut down Curry again, so why do e start him? Not for his rebounding.

I don't think IT will start JJ, but I do think it would be a good idea.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Who does it remind you of Nalod. Be frank, isn't that a better way to act?

Changing the lineup would only be Larry-like if there is no discernable reason. And I don't see how it is short-sighted to change the lineup for one night for an actual reason. Coaches do it all the time. As long as there is a reason I don't think anyone should have a problem with it.

Very interesting that there are maybe 2 posts that deal with the subject at hand and all the rest are attempts to needle me. How are you UK mafia? Does anybody want to talk about what I wrote, or maybe you all should just start a thread about how much I get to you, and you all can post away? I think you should because I don't have time for your childishness at this moment.

Trying to chase me away like you did Bonn huh? Hey Martin, is this kind of behavior acceptable? Is it encouraged?

You see, this is what I am saying Martin. Fishmike for instance can't keep it on basketball. Another post that has nothing to do with the topic. This is UK mafia behavior. I know I make fishmike feel not too good sometimes, but I always try to keep it basketball, at least until he takes it somewhere else. I really think you need to tighten up the rules a bit to bring this forum back to civility.

Part of the reason coaches dont like to adjust line ups is they dont want to adjust to other teams, rather they would like to force that team to adjust.

Starting Jerome means Eddie has failed before he takes the floor. Why not try to find ways to get Eddie the ball when Yao is out of position? Like have Franbury attack Yao off the dribble and establish a mid range game. Then if Yao pops out to help dish to Eddie for dunks. If Yao hedges a bit try to get Eddie the ball before he recovers so he can get Yao in foul trouble. Always easier said than done, but Eddie *should* be able to do something w/ his speed and quickness.

Jerome plays to Yao's strengths. Just my humble opinion

do you blame him or anyone else fishmike? Lately, anything that happens with the Knicks is turned into a negative thread. I'm hesitant to start threads that say positive things because I don't want people calling me dumb for believing in this team. Also, I don't want to spend time repeating myself.

About the thread, Curry needs to play Yao in the beginning. I'm hoping he has learned from the last time he played Yao and has a new bag of tricks.

hey man... I just did some research and posted some very positive thoughts on how good Jared Jeffries can be, and what a solid impact he can have.

Is the board overall negative?

Clearly yes, but after a decade of a franchise player and 10 straight years of advancing in the playoffs we have had one of the most mismanaged teams in sports.

I still root. I still love the team. I had a great time the other night going to the game. I loved that we won the way we did. I loved Killa (sitting behind me) barking in my ear EVERYTIME Shoebury made a great play. It was awesome. That being said I am NOT happy, enthusiastic or hopefull about the direction of this team while this GM is here. Dumping Jalen/Mo T helped, but I need to see a little more than that.

Also we are 4-7 with serveral blowout losses and a lot of "more of the same" from last year.

I don't see how. Both Curry and James are slow, but so is Yao. Yao beats players with his size and length and James is bigger and longer than Curry. He is also willing to play D and he has a clue. Curry does not.

I did on the UK behavior thread.. regarding THIS thread. Read to the top man. Guys made some sarcastic comments at worst, even though they meant what they said and you threw a tantrum.

Tantrum? Where? No I just strongly pointed out that their only purpose was to needle me or to be sarcastic. If they want to talk about yesterday's argument then I'm cool with that but it had nothing to do with this thread. I appreciate sarcasm more than most, but how about we talk about the topic? Otherwise dues are just trying behave like a gang and take shots at me, or anyone else that dares to defend a position they don't agree with.

I'll check into where you pointed out that I behave in the way I have described, I did not see it.

clearly thats the problem. I listed all your quotes. Nobody said anything directed to you. Nothing. Nobody called names. A Larry reference was made. No insults. At least nothing like.

But here you are
But I would hope they would stop the UK mafia from showing up and just throwing out insults and acting like douches (See my Jerome James thread I just created if you don't believe me.),
^^^ Hmmm. I guess you guys have nothing to actually say so you're just going to pull your little UK Mafia routine.Stop behaving so small if you can help it.
Actually the complaint was all the starting lineup changes with no apparent rhyme or reason. I guess it's tough for you to see the difference.

oohah
Do you have anything to say? Any comment of value? I guess not. So why say anything?

oohah

LOL you are just trying to run with a crowd and you have nothing to say. You can't stand on your own. You are an infection from RealGM. LOL

seems to be that you had an insult or personal attack for everyone.

I put them in bold... so you could *see it*

I have to admit there is very little in this thread that deals with the initial post.
The remarks are not personal attacks so match as they are sarcastic remarks directed at the thread starter. He is correct to feel ganged up on because there are several posts which basically say the same thing from like 5 different posters. I'd say that characterizes the UK mafia thing pretty accurately.

The same thing that most of you guys are saying is that he can't change the lineup because Lb had so many lineup changes last year.

Thats ridiculous. He'll never approach the amount of lineup changes LB had last year. No one will. Lets remember LB set a record with that, so lets conceede that LB's lineup changes were excessive and that 1 lineup change does not begin to appraoch excessive. You guys are being totally ridiculous, and are making a non-point. I see how it could be viewed as a personal attack, but it isn't a direct personal attack, its more of an attack of a persons views by several people saying the same thing. It certainly seems personal to me.

This is now so out of hand that if Isiah says defense, you guys will go:

"See, where did he get that concept from? Thats what LB was doing and now hes doing it."

No back to topic, should Jerome start. I think Fish made an interesting point, when he finally got around to it. :) Jerome maybe shouldn't start, but should be in there early if Curry looks anywhere near as ineffective as he looked last time.

Jerome starting on Yao screams out 6 fouls in 3 minutes, kind of like it was all year last year.

How funny, fans were screaming to never see Jerome again and that LB should be fired for that, and now they want him to start against one of the top centers in the league who will destroy him.

Oohah, can I be in the UK mafia? That way I can be in the Hater Thrown, Anti Bonn Colt and the new and rising UK Mafia. This will give me my triple crown.
