At this point in time the knicks are NOT going to trade for the future. 3 reasons--1) Isiah is not going to admit hes wrong about the players he traded for. 2)They do want to finish better than chicago so we can keep our pick 3) If they start dumping players they show NO significant improvement and Isiah is basically firing himself which makes NO sense.
Isiah contract expires before the year is over... on Dec 21 I believe. Do you think they give him an extension? Do you think that he finishes the year?

Are you sure about that fishmike? I don't remember any sports contracts that have ended in the middle of the season, but maybe I'm wrong.

I think I heard that too. If the team is around .400 or better, they'll probably at least give him an extension to finish the season. I think Dolan is very loyal.

No, not rebounding and Defense in reguards to Reggie Evans, it's just REBOUNDING. Im really trying to figure out how Defense and reggie got linked up. The guy stinks at every thing othen rebounding. I would never want him, especially when David Lee is rebounding better then him all ready and is play good D this season.

I don't think we need Reggie with Q and Lee controlling the boards. You can never have too much rebounding, but I don't like the thought of adding K-Mart. If Denver's throwing in draft picks, I'd do the deal, but I doubt they'd do that. If they think K-Mart is going to retire, then they're not desperate to trade him.

Good point, no to any kmart deals.
Denver has a window. They cant win without a scoring presence in the post. Nene/Camby are solid defenders and rebounders but neither score with their back to the basket. Both would compliment Curry however, quite nicely. They arent adding $$$ as KMart is accounted for.

Melo is younh enough to build around. Maybe they go the other way and package those picks, Camby cap fodder for Garnett. Who knows.

I think it might be a good trade for Denver, I wasnt saying that they wouldnt pull the trigger. Im more concerned with the Knicks, and the last thing we need is KMarts contract, repeated comeback attempts, and all the negative attention. Kmart is a warrior, he wont give up anytime soon. The last thing we need is Allan Houson part two around here.

Well wsdm, as maybe you would say, he's loyal to nobody that wouldn't help him, particularly with money, and Knicks tickets sales are plummeting as well as the team, while the anti Isiah/Marbury/Curry chants are skyrocketing. The Knicks were boarderline bad/mediocre when Isiah was hired, and now they're pretty much the same at this point. It's like I've been saying, even an idiot like Dolan knows change needs to be done and I think he realizes this thing needs to be rebuilt, AGAIN.

at this point, the only way I trade for KMart is if DEN takes Marbury & Turd off our hands & gives us a #1 in the deal along w/Evans.

David Lee is every bit as good a rebounder as Evans is if not better, & i would say that he is vastly improving on his interior defense this season as well... Evans is a nice role player to have, but you don't give up Curry to get him & take on KMart's contract in the process when he's out for the rest of the season... if KMart was playing right now & showing some signs of remaining healthy this season, I'd be open to making this type of deal.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
