Honestly.. this is why I for one wished you have met that night. We had guys like myself, DJ, Martin, HARDCOREKNICKSFAN, Evil, Marv, Elite, Wood, etc... and guys just hang. Yea we bust on each other but its just that.

Go back and read the thread for yourself. Nobody said anything offensive and you pretty much freaked out amigo.

That's funny fish because you seem to take it pretty personal and you hang onto things for a long time so you cannot even discuss the topic of a thread when it comes up for weeks at a time whe I am posting. Just stop and examine your behavior.

I see how quickly you lose it. Just imagine if there were 3-6 of me going at you the way guys go at me. Not talking basketball but trying to take stabs at you. I can handle it, I've shown that, and I am pretty sure you cannot the way you smolder for weeks on end.

Examine your behavior and try to be civil. I am not talking about simple joking around. There is a time when joking ends and you don't seem to be aware of it except when it comes to yourself.

ahhh... I just read that thread again. The responses you got were not what you desired, I get it. But there was nothing personal and the most offesive thing was some sarcasm. Then you kinda freaked on guys

You have never seen me freak. Seatsblue is simply always trying to run with a crowd and Isles has very little motiovation for posting except to get under people's skin.

I can handle it, I have been since I showed up here. But it should not be this way. And since Killa brought it up, I think we should try to make a change. We are all grownups and should be able to converse without forming gangs and constantly throwing out insults.

Lets just keep it to sports. That whole thing with Bonn pissed me off. There was no reason to respond to every single one of his posts with "snit vomit" or "gay robot" bs. Someone says something about Crawford, keep it at that.

I know it gets annoying with people but the backlash does not fit.

But what went on with Bonn, for example, was totally unacceptable to me. A bunch of people constantly referring to him as a homosexual? Lets just say thats inappropriate and shouldn't happen.

This is what I propose should be enforced because its getting out of hand. Not only that, but many of these incidents involved the same people. I feel strongly that this needs to be addressed.

You are totally right Killa. I don't like to address the moderators about how they should run this forum but it seems that certain kinds of commentary that should be addressed is not.

Simrud is the worst of all. He never talks basketball, he just shows up to throw random insults out, degrade or threaten people, use derogatory racial terminology, etc. It always bewilders me that he is still allowed to post.

I know I get into some heated battles. If the mods want me to stop then I will. I have a rule not to throw the first blow and I stick to it. I'll try to do like Jesus and turn the other cheek. But I would hope they would stop the UK mafia from showing up and just throwing out insults and acting like douches (See my Jerome James thread I just created if you don't believe me.), and I promise I will be the most meticulously polite poster, as I already try to be with those that can converse in a civil manner.

As far as calling Bonn a faggot and why some think it is okay. It isn't. There is no justification. All of that is bullsh!t excuses. Bonn was no more obnoxious than the UK Mafia crew that came after him every time he posted. In fact he was much less obnoxious. Maybe once or twice is a joke, or every now and then, but a bunch of dudes circling him and calling him a fag is bullying plain and simple. I wonder if any of those guys would find it funny if it were happening to them or god forbid one of their kids or someone else they care about. I wonder how they would feel then? ANY JUSTIFICATION is inadequate and simply utter garbage. It was wrong and still is wrong.

So I am turning over a new leaf. I am not getting into heated battles, at least not personal ones. I want to be a positive force on this forum. I guess "I'll have to talk to the teacher", when the UK mafia shows up and tries to circle me like they did Bonn, like they did last night, like they are trying to do on the JJ thread I just started, like they did on the thread where simrud threatened me, etc.

I only hope there will be a response.

Killa, I cant agree more.

You and me had a glorious bare-knuckle brawl at the Middle East thread, but that's the point of debate. I remember when Sim got completely out of hand in that thread, and I remember thinking that this is going a little too far. I cant remember if I posted it. If I didnt, I should have, but I remember talking to Martin at the time and mentioned it.

Point is, what was said in that thread was completely relevant to the debate at hand, and in any other environment or conversation, especially on a sports-related forum, has no place at all.

I missed the ni**er comment, and the other racist remark you mentioned, but that kind of thing has no place in ultimateknicks.com. I would hope that anyone saying something like that was being lighthearted, and simply went too far down a humorous thought process.

I suppose being a little considerate while posting should be on peoples minds, but we are all grown-ups, and we should all be able to defend ourselves if we feel a percieved slight. Anyone intentionally saying something racist shld of course be banned. Immediately. Theres no two ways about it. If you let that kind of thig start at all..... well, that way Realgm lies.

Overall, I think we all need to simmer down a little. The is UK.com remember?! We're family here. And family always pi$$es you off a little.

BTW, oohah. I agree that the Bonn thing got out of hand a few times, but Bonn really was his own mitigating circumstances, and honestly, there is no indication that Bonn even understood most of the sarcasm coming at him. And to be honest, some people hace bad days and come here and post irrationally sometimes. $hit happens. I cant really see what you flew off the handle about in your Jerome thread, but I guess we all have bad days.

Maybe we all just need to simmer down a little.

Like I said, I'm sorry that if my confidence in my opinion and ability to back what I am saying, and unwillingness to crumble for you pleasure disturbs you so much that you feel you have to seek me out to take shots at me. You have never seen me do this to you or any other poster. I have a heated exchange I let it go, and try not to speak to them, I don't seek them out for weeks on end. That is pretty poor behavior don't you think? I'll bet you have made excuses for it, but they are not good ones I am sure.

I think Andrew and Martin do a good job moderating their board. When things get out of hand they take care of it.

Can we all be a little more mature and lighten up a little bit? Yeah probably but I don't think things have reached a crisis point or anything close.

I am tired of cutting loose on people and I don't think it should have to go there so often. It's tiresome. You may think I like to fight but nothing could be further from the truth. I did not join realgm for that reason and I lurked in this forum for year to make sure it could be a place for decent conversation.

And Killa created up this thread, and I think it is high-time someone did. That is what is with me today.

I thought it wasnt derogatory if in response. And if you didnt like to fight you would have changed your behavior. What it appears like is what you really like and want is for people to agree with you. When they dont you get (insert non derogatory term).

Did anybody actually read the post where I brought up the Chris Rock joke? He is black, and he is allowed to make black jokes. Killa if you were going to find a Jew making Jewish jokes and post it, I have no problem with that. Ever watched the Shappel Show, or Carlos Mencia? All they do is bust on their own race. Jewish standup comedians do the same thing.

Also, Killa, in the Middle Eastern thread, you just posted outright lies, and when I finally caught you red-handed on the Israel setting up settlements in Lebanon article you stopped posting cause your cover was blown. You had, have, and will probably always have an agenda when it comes to the Middle East. So do I. I respect your stand, but don't lie about it and pretend you are impartial. Enemies can be honored, why hide your true intentions?

Finally, hooha you responded to a one line comment I made about your posting style with a detailed personal attack. I gave you back some of your own medicine. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Finally about the Bonn thing, calling him gay was probably wrong, I never called him gay, but he was incredibly annoying, and I enjoyed Nalod destroying him every once in a while.

If I hurt anybody's feelings, I'm not sorry, if your feelings actually get hurt on an online forum, you have been lucky enough to have a sheltered life with no real problems.

Oh and for the stabbing comment, hooha suggested that he can take me or something like that, and that was a response to that, essentially you don't know me man, and you probably don't want to meet me either hoohah, so just squash it.

Simply untrue. I don't care if you agree or not. And I will chaneg my behavior. When you start throwing out the derogatory commentary as you cannot seem to stop doing, I guess I will "cry to the moderator" instead of cutting loose on you.
