He never passes the ball. He is still trying to be a highlight film with no traces of a PG anywhere to be found.

he did hit Balkman underneath the hoop last night for an easy layup... i think Nate has the talent & the eye to find his teammates, but like you said, he always wants to be the highlight on ESPN whenever he has the ball in his hands... hopefully he grows out of that w/more playing time... this is why we need to get rid of Marbury & Francis, so young guys like Nate don't feel like they have to put up 20 points every time they hit the floor because they feel like they're battling for minutes every game.

can i just say that a Key to that 6 game streak was Lee... but it was also MARBURY... Do you guys remember how good Steph played during that streak? If Steph can play well, we can have a chance

The key has always been in my mind Steph playing well but getting HELP. As long as he has HELP, there's no reason why this team can't be a good team going forward. We have the talent and this year they're being allowed to shine. Isiah is sticking with these young players and they're only going to get better as we go along. The streak showed me last year that there was a TON of untapped potential on this team and we weren't being allowed to see it. NOW we're getting to see it and watch them grow and Jell together. The Rotations are starting to be defined and players know what to expect and how to react. More and more I believe this team will start to grow into their roles. This is what many of us saw in this team and have been waiting for. Now it's starting to come thru.

no doubt, Steph was playing the best ball of his Knicks career during that stretch... too bad he got injured on that Wally Z pick... this team was really beginning to gel... but it's been a while since then & so far he hasn't shown any signs of returning to that form... right now i really like what i'm seeing when Jamal & Nate are running the backcourt... i think the Knicks should run w/that more & see where it takes them.

You really don't, cuz there's a reason why Steph is out there so much. Nate and Jamal is good in stretches, but they do have flaws that would be exposed the more them play. This formula is best for the team. Steph could play like he did during the streak, but that's not what is best for the team. We have so many guys that need to gain experience and get meaningful burn that it's better if Steph isn't the dominant force all the time. Let these other guys get comfortable running the offense as well and well have a much better team. That's what we see happening. The young guys are learning and able to do so without the burden of the extra scrutiny that comes with being one of the leaders as Steph is. He's tough enough to take the beating, having done so for MANY years now. They can just go out and have fun and help us win. Trust me it's best for all that Isiah does it this way.
