I'd feel a lot better about Frye's performance tonight if it wasn't so blatant that they were doing everything they could at the start to get him going. You really think they're going to do that every game? With Curry, Starbury, Francis and Q on the floor with him, I doubt it. He has to start getting it done within the flow of the offense.

It was nice to see him exert some effort on defense and on the boards. But that begs the question, why can't he do that every night?

he still looks to be not in synch w/the flow of the game & he's missing wide open looks on alot of shots... he did look better on the boards & on low post defense, but was extremely sluggish boxing out on Gooden, & didn't have 1 blocked shot to show for his 28 minutes on the floor... it's a good sign that he finally broke out scoring wise, but like u said alot of the scoring early on was forced to get him going & it would be nice to see him getting points within the natural flow of the offense more often.

zeke needs to start thinking about winning without curry...if we decide to cancel the Curry is the franchise experiment and make him a 18/8 role player, featuring frye, we'd win more games and chicago won't get a lotto pick.

But I'm devastated after last night's game (was it last night?), they could and should have won that game...it just didn't seem like they wanted it...and why was damon jones not playing the 3rd quarter?

strange coaching this early in the season, I see why we are supposed to wait until december before we can make any judgements, everybody seems to be trying things.

Frye is out of the woods, but not for his offense, his defense and hustle are back.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I thought he looked great but I'm still concerned that its almost all jump shots and it took him putting up like 18 shots to score 17 points

I agree with you SugarRay, Nate goes to the basket more than Frye!!

Nate drives to the basket more than most players.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Frye looked much better. It's time to think of ways to jettison Curry. can't happen til Isiah leaves, but we can dream, can't we...

he hit a couple jumpers early... no real big deal. I thought his best play was when Curry was out of the game. It would be nice if he's our starting center next year (Frye that is)

Naaah, he's not center material. I envision him more as a PG.

most PGs have better shot selection. Frye is more a shooting guard. You know.. a guy that just hangs around the perimeter and takes long jumpers

Curry's the player w/the bigger upside.

See other thread on players making big improvements in years 6 to 10. I agree with Crzy on giving up on curry. It's time.

Frye will never be a franchise calibre talent no matter how long we wait... Curry on the other hand, at least has the upside potential to become one, if he ever plays up to his abilities of course... i'd much rather give Curry another year before giving up on him... i'd sooner give up on Frye in a heartbeat.
