No, b/c as an organization, the Knicks should not stoop to that type of level, b/c then they would be just as bad as Isiah Thomas, and the Knicks should act like a classy organization, even though they have a bad team.

When the Knicks fired Layden, I said "Lets not laugh at Layden for his misfortune. Lets just continue to focus with the Knicks and disregard the guy that was fired or hurting the team." My thoughts were the same with every coach that was fired, and they will remain the same WHEN Isiah is fired by Christmas.

I will give IT this season to determine his fate. If he gets the team to show significant improvement and at least make a serious push for the playoffs by the end of the year, I think he should be given another year to turn things around. Other than the Francis trade, which I am convinced was more LB than Isiah, I think his other trades were at least understandable for the most part. The Q and Nate for KT trade actually looks like a great trade for us and picking up Lee at 30 was genius. I think he has done an above average job of drafting, but has done a poor job of managing the cap and balancing the team. However, I really think the team is 1 or 2 good pieces away from being a very solid squad. I vote no until I see what this team does for the entire year.

No for now. I still want to see how this pans out. I like that he is not afraid to bench his starters during the first few games. I actually think that JJ2 would have really stabilized his rotation.

FI-RE DO-LAN!

That's the point. With Dolan hiring his replacement, what's the point in making any change.

Nope.

As a GM..he is ok. The only move I question was the trade for Francis.

No questioning the Brown hire, the Big Game contract, the Curry deal, Jalen trade, MoT trade?

I don't know that we'd replace him with someone better, which is scary.

He won 23 games last year and is on pace for 23 wins this year. How the guy still has a job is beyond me. But I say let's wait until the condions are perfect, meaning no injuries, the stink of LB has worn off and our players are really happy before we make any decisions.

I just hope that people will like me

I didn't like that he hired Brown because the vision he had for the Knicks is not the way L.brown coaches...but I understood why he did it. He went and got someone who is considered one of the best coaches in the league.

and the same goes for the J.James signing. Could he have gotten him for cheaper? who knows...but the Knicks had a huge hole in the middle and James just came out of an OUTSTANDING playoff series against Duncan. the contract isn't pretty...I admit...but I think James is still a serviceable big man. He just gets injured to much.

Curry no question. and if the Knicks didnt do so horrible last season and ended up giving Chicago that lottery pick, no one would be questioning it either....imo.

Thats great that IF they did well but they didn't. You can name all the reasons that you want for why the Knicks didn't play well last year, but the fact of the matter is that they they gave up the 2nd pick in the draft because of a poor season and Isiah should be held accountable for that. Isiah showed a total lack of foresight when he gave the Bulls those two lottery picks because a few key injuries over a year and you're going to end up with a crap record and there goes your pick because you didn't lottery protect it.

He got us Stephon Marbury and cheap sneakers.

Isiah for President !

Nah but seriously, he's done a mid-range job as GM, and he's 2-5 as Head coach. I don't see the need to send him a computer virus in an email, just yet.

Well it's not like he hasn't been put on notice with regard to the win loss record. However this season isn't yet 23-59. While it's disappointing to see the team not doing well, the story isn't yet written and i'd like to give the man and this team an entire season to prove who and what they are. Dolan likely doesn't feel that last year was a good measuring stick and i'm sure he'll let Isiah have a lot more time to see if he can improve this team. Also Dolan isn't likely to make a change during the season, cuz what would that really solve and who would we bring in? If it's my team I'd want to start the year fresh with any new GM and Coach and give them every opportunity to do their job well. A midseason move would likely be rushed and impossible for the players and new management.

I am going to ****ing throw up.

He signed James last year for five years for the entire mid-level? Zaza signed for half of that and give you twice the production, Elson signed for what this year, ****ing Mutumbo would could have been had for two years at 5 million, and he does everything James does....

You take a young team and rid them of their biggest problem and give them cap relief, great idea......

You pay 22 million for Balkman, great vision

You need to buy out Jalen, Mo, Larry, J-Williams, etc

You badly **** up with the treatment of coaches, you are the fourth coach since you took over, our wins decrease every year.

Every ****ing player he brought in can't play defense, practically. Vin Baker, Mo Taylor, Marbury, Francis, Frye, Curry, Crawford....

You have the most overweight overpaid center combo in NBA history, no joke....and compound your stupidity, mr. talent scout himself by overestimating your team and give away two lottery picks in consecutive drafts.....nice, add that onto trading away our picks two years ago and in the future to secure the star of coney island

You ****ing run the rep of the franchise into the toilet, the city hates the team, and they are the laughing stock of the national media.....you somehow even manage to get a major sexual harrasment lawsuit against you as well

Yea lets keep the guy........are you ****ing nuts?

And so we finish with the 7th or 8th pick and can draft Roye, Foye or Rudy Gay, its still a bad move to bring in Curry.

Simmons says it better than anyone could..........

I can't believe what a disaster this Knicks team is. OK, maybe I can. But will there ever be a more inexplicable move than the Knicks spending $30 million on the insanely mediocre Jared Jeffries (really $60 million since they have to pay double for the luxury tax), than allowing the Spurs to steal Jackie Butler (a legitimate sleeper at center) away for $7 million because they were worried about the luxury tax ramifications? What about the illogical Jalen Rose buyout, whose $16.9 million salary could have been used for a deadline deal in a few months? What about the season-ticket holders fleeing in droves? What about Isiah being forced to coach this mess? My head is spinning.

(Note: I maintained from Day 1 that Isiah would be an unequivocal disaster in New York, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine he could cost the Knicks hundreds of millions of dollars. That's not a misprint. He has cost the Knicks hundreds of millions of dollars. This was one of those rare sports stories that somehow went underreported for whatever reason, like everyone backed off because he's been so incompetent, it wasn't even that interesting to discuss. Well, think of all the attention T.O. received over the past few years, or Barry Bonds or even A-Rod, ... how could anything be a bigger story than Isiah Thomas single-handedly destroying the NBA's marquee franchise? You'll understand in two years when you're watching Spike Lee's documentary about the Isiah era: "When Eddy Curry's Levi's Broke.")

I am shocked that he still has a job. I see his continued tenure here as more time wasted for this franchise. He needs to go.
