if this trade went down last year, i would have been against it. i'll admit that. odom is one mary jane away from being suspended for a year. combine that with playing back at home and things could've gotten dangerous.

with that said, i also maintained that we were going to have to choose either frye or curry and trade the other one b/c neither could play together.

now, the deal looks great b/c frye has been playing borderline nbdl level.

We agree on something. I'd say moreso with Artest. Odom was just a weed guy, and he needs to figure out what hes doing wrong that the other half of the league is doing right, because at least half of them are smoking weed. My friends have seen AI in the club smoking weed.

Not really. I'm totally Anti-Brown but this is one trade I would have loved to see go down. In fact, I have a few threads last yr that endorsed this trade when the rumors surfaced.

How is Odom a problem? Odom is everything this team needs. a small forward who can rebound, handle the ball, pass, can defend in the post.....he is a threat to get a triple double everytime he steps on the floor. And he proved his worth with a phenomonal performance during the playoffs. He's off to a great start this yr.

the point to take from this is that Brown knew Frye was a pu$$y. Give him credit for that.
