He was told to enjoy the game and play the way he knows how. Taht has led to less discipline and a guy that thinks in a key possession that he should jack up a 30 footer with a hand in his face. Last year this would have led to a scolding and berating in front of the press. This year it leads to another play being called for him.

He doesn't look any different this November than he did last November under Larry

than you are not watching the games.
That reply hardly gets a discussion going! What did he do last November under Larry that he's not doing now?

He was struggling in November and his defense was poor, however, he was still fitting in with the offense and it seemed like his shot jacking disease was cured. He wasn't putting up nearly as many 3s as he did in years past. He's putting up much more. Larry Brown was the perfect coach for Jamal. Maybe the Billups and Iverson and so and so comparisons shouldn't have been directed towards Marbury and maybe more towards Jamal.

PS: I did not say Jamal is as good as those guys, so please, spare me my 20 seconds by not posting crap about how Jamal is not better than Chauncey and Iverson. Not that Marbury is as good as them either.

Guy, Billups and Iverson are so much better than Craw it's ridiculous.

the correct phrasing should be "Billups and Iverson are so much better than Craw & Marbs it's ridiculous."

That's coming from the guy who said Mike Sweetney will be absolutely superior to Elton Brand in all aspects of basketball and that Jason Kidd is Charlie Ward's understudy.

Sweetney just needs to get his sea legs beneath him and he will be a star. Charlie would have had a better career than Jason Kidd if his knees weren't shot. I was correct in both of my assessments it's just that fate did follow along with my correctness.

No i think Curry kills us more than anyone

can't say it any better than that! But here goes: Curry is a big waste... he's a piece of garbage... he's a bigger pu$$Y than Frye. He makes me sick.

Does anyone actually watch the games or do we just enjoy that Crawford make highlight plays? He shot the ball well percentage wise, but his shot are all off balance, he takes half of the shot clock to make his move, doesn't get people involved, and more importantly usually starts a fast break for the other team.....

This is the truth. The same thing that makes Crawford good at hitting nutty game end shots is the same thing that makes him hurt the team so much as well. He has no concsience.

And no, he did not improve so much last season. It was the same. He just put together a few nice weeks, just like every other season. Overall it was what we have come to expect, feast or famine from month to month, week to week, game to game, quarter to quarter, minute to minute, you never know if he will make the highlight play of the night or the dumbest play of the night.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Crawford is a shooter and a playmaker. You have to live and die with Crawford, the correct term people in the NBA refer to it as is "streak shooters". I seem to remember John Starks (one of my favorite knicks) never met a shot he didnt like, only thing is starks couldn't create a shot off the dribble b/c he didnt have the moves. Craw does. Am I blind ? NO! I certainly curse at the TV when he takes an off balance fadeaway with 15 on the shot clock. I also cheer like hell when he goes for 30 + against denver, when he hits game winning shots, the fact that he isn't scared to take the big shot, when he hits 30ft 3s.

The point is Jamal Crawford is a streak shooter, anytime he can get hot and when he does watch out. You live and die with these players and that is any basket ball team. (Unless your the SPURS)

You can live with the players if they play on both ends, a streak shooter that doesn't play defense and takes up half your clock every possession is never going to help you win in this league, he is someone like i believe martin said should come into the game and if hes hot ride him if not his ass goes to the bench.

And everyone points to a game winner, or a nice defensive play here and there, but the whole is what wins in this league and crawford playing good 25% of the time and being a key player is going to kill the team.

It's a lot more dying than living with Jamal, though. If he played great defense and passed well like Starks, I could tolerate the poor shooting.
