I doubt any of those coaches would have had less than 30 wins last season. None of those guys constantly used the emdia to insult or isolate his players through the season. None of those guys tried to make trades behind their GMs backs. None of those guys demanded 3/4 of the roster be waived. LB is a dick.

He's not evil. He's just a dick.
So is Greg Popavich, Phil Jackson, Rick Carlisle, Scott Skiles, Mike Fratello, Jeff Van Gundy, Paul Silas, Nate Mcmillan, Goerge Karl, Mike Dunleavy
None of those guys pull the B.S. LB does. If you think he does then I don't know what to tell you, but look at his history.
oohah
They are different kind of Pricks nonetheless Pricks.
Phil Jackson last yr called Kwame a Pusssssy in the paper. I don't think LB has ever used such derogatory terms towards a player.
Skiles pretty much called Curry a Fat Asssss in the media
Paul Silas Cussed out Snow and sent him to the lockeroom during a game
Nate Mcmillan suspends players at the drop of a dime
Greg Popavich to this day cusses out Parker Real Time during games
LB is very manipulative and wants his voice to be heard to promote action. I'm not saying I agree with it but in the end I look at the results of his career. Last yr he failed here but any of these coaches would have. Phil Jackson could have joined the Knicks he didn't, same with Fratello and none of them are supposedly the kind of Prick Larry is but yet Larry was hired by Zeke.

Ha. this is great. You're like the kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar and tells mom that lil' brother stole cookies last week so you should get away with it too.
Nooone is gonna argue that Isiah is a great GM. Whether or not LB sucks is independent of Zeke.

No excuses or second chances for LB but with Zeke and Dolan forgiveness is endless. I get it.

Lbs not exactly a man who comes up with a roster he likes and lets it gel and develop. He has a rep for being extremly fickle. (i.e Francis and ROse) I think if he ran the show you would have the roster in constant flux and at the end of 5 years basically be where you started.

i think lb was operating on the notion that he had 5 years here and that no matter what he did last year, they would have to listen to him and he would have to get his way. no way in hell did he think dolan would eat $40 mil of his deal. so he was setting it up, albeit in a totally fcuked up manner, where he would be calling the shots.
now, that's not a good thing if you're isiah b/c basically, that would mean you would just be a figurehead.
but would that have been a bad thing for the knicks? would lb put together a better team over the next 3-4 years?
that's the question we must ask as fans.

Because Larry would have had to tank and go 22-60, 21-61, & 20-62; before Dolan had switched alliegance and listened to Larry Brown.
Meanwhile; former Knick fans would've became fans of the New York Cards of the newly formed Professional Team Texas Holdem' Poker league.....leaving no one to root for Brown's turnaround season in year 5.
