geez, the bynum bandwagon hopping has already begun. A lot of you talk about the knicks players crumbling under adversity, most of you are the same way. after 4 games, Bynum is a franchise talent, frye stinks, and IT has no eye for talent.... Yea we have issues, I am not jumping ship, I watched the game, I saw bynum score some easy baskets in that triangle offense, heck even walton looks great, and Odom.. wow.. so I am not going to go overboard here..

MY lord!

Sorry buddy, the Bynum bandwagon hasn't just begun, it began a loooong time ago.

the bandwagon makes it's appearance after every good game Bynum has, & is in the shop for repairs during others.

Not really TMS. You've heard people talking about Bynum since before he was drafted. Look at his stats this year, they are STUD stats for a 19yr old. If you want Briggs to make a thread about every single game he plays, I'm sure he would, I'll be glad to post in the same thread as well.

Bynum has looked good, but KG is washed up.

I'll give props.. it was a good call by Briggs. I didn't think Bynum would produce this quickly. We'll see over the long haul how he'll develop his offensive game.. but right now, he's looking like a very shrewd selection.

Gotta give Briggs credit. I thought he'd be very good but he's definitely progressed quickly and is a potential franchise talent.

Channing Frye was the safe pick and Isiah took it. It was another "win now" type move that lacked any foresight. Frye had a very limited ceiling especially compared to Bynum.

If we draft Bynum, we don't sign James and we don't make the Curry trade. Maybe we don't stink as much as we did last year and get the #2 pick but we're probably lottery bound so maybe we get Brandon Roy with last year's #1 pick.

What kind of potential do you think this team would have?

C Andrew Bynum
PF David Lee
SF Brandon Roy (moving to SG after Starbury leaves)
SG Stephon Marbury
PG Marcus Williams

And having our #1 pick this year in what's supposed to be a great draft.

I hate Isiah.

If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

we're 5 games into the season... Bynum's had 2 good games & 3 that were average to subpar... he looks good for a 19 yo, i'll give u that... i do like his passing ability for a bigman... as far as being a consistent scorer in the low post, i'll have to see him do it on a much more consistent basis before i go crazy on the kid... you think Bynum's #'s look great for a 2nd year player out of HS, go check out some of #'s Eddy Curry put up during his 2nd season in the NBA:

woulda, coulda, shoulda...Can we please not harp on what could have happened if we did this or that? I am all about what we have now. We have a young core. I say we only need to do 1 move..

Trade Marbury. Maybe for the Lakers since everyone is claiming they need a PG. We can send Blubbury and Frye for Odom, Kwame and a future 1st rounder.

Lakers can have Bynum, Frye, Radmanovic, Blubbury and oh yeah...Kobe

we then start the following...

PG-Francis
SG-Q Rich
SF-Odom
PF-Lee
C-Curry

That would be a good defensive team at the 2,3 and 4 spot. We can then sit Lee and put JJ2 in when he comes back.

Bench
Nate
Mardy
Balkman
Cato
Kwame
Malik

I would be happy with this group...but I would be happy with any FUbury less roster.

Odom is good. Marbury sucks. Why do this deal if you are the Lakers?

This applys to everyone except BRIGGS

Half the board wanted Andrew Bynum. Isiah Wanted Channing Frye

Agreed. The only bandwagon hopping is some of the Frye supporters now realizing Bynum is superior. However, a good amount liked Bynum; Briggs was not the only one.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I am banking on that Frye's value will be enough to make this trade. A Bynum and Frye frontcourt sounds very good.

I don't know if people realize this - but the lakers have league pass. they know Frye and Marbury suck.
