Jesus, I'm the one who wanted Jared Jeffries here so bad and I'm starting to get sick of hearing about how different things will be when he comes back. He's not Jesus Christ!

That just made my night!
I'll never trust this' team again.

Sorry, I turned the game off. Watched Orlando and Washington.

Good game, lots of excited fans in Orlando. Reezy was in street clothes as well as Reddick.

Turned the knick game on and it was just dreadful. Just turning back on to the game was a bummer.

Nix, I know you mean well, but denial is another thing.

This is suppose to be fun to watch, root for. Its my entertainment dollar.

Im sorry I got my Seasons pass.

Im starting to rebuild my home theater and think this will be my winter hobby.

This team gotta show me something one of these days.

"you gotta believe" is like begging right now. Rooting for a team should have its ups and downs, and this just ain't happening for me anymore.

I felt bad for those in the garden tonite. all that money being spend to watch a bad show. Looking at marbury makes me sick, and special nates just annoying now. The kid has talent, but dam that jumping jack on speed just gets old.

This just sounds like you lack any sense of perspective when it comes to this team. For one thing it's FOUR GAMES! A four game sample at any point in the season is too small to make any kind of serious judgements. All we can do is wait and see how this team develops over the next 16 games or so. Then take stock of were they are, but even then you have to go another 20 games and take stock etc. The season is just too long to take a defeatist attitude. I've been watching sports for so long now that I really don't give up on seasons just because they start off bad.

I'm here to tell you that i'm not just wishing that they'll play better. I'm CONFIDENT that they WILL play better this year. You can see that when this team plays aggressively that they are much better, but they lack consistency right now. That won't always be the case this season. If LB had stuck with something for a while this team would've shown some growth and I expect that Isiah will try to do that with this team. I'm not positive that he'll be patient forever with Frye, but I do hope that he has a long rope with these players cuz they need to fight thru this.

I will admit, we gotta win one of the next two games. This could really get out of hand. The first game was a sign, right off the bat of just much we'd probably be struggling so early on. We could easily be 0-4 right now, looking like another 23 win season. Maybe Zeke will quit, rather than wait to be fired, before the season is over. This is not last year guys! It's supposed to be a new season. Keep fighting through it! You gotta beleive!!!
I'll never trust this' team again.

When the coach is starting his bench in the second half to teach a lesson to his starters after four games you are in pretty deep. The next move for this administration has been to buy out contracts. I am not sure where Isiah goes from here on out. His style to date has been to massage and soothe the egos of his players to help them overcome the low self esteem they acquired while playing for Brown. Where do you go from there? You can't become suddenly hard and expect a positive response or to suddenly gain respect. The tone was set for this year. It is about having fun and getting back to basketball, getting back to Starbury.

The starting the bench to get thru to the starter thing was all too familiar. I thought humiliation was a tactic that did not work last year.

I thought "Fun" was in this year!

"Just be patient" doesn't necessarily mean "just wait and see, we'll get way better." But it does mean that 4 games is way too small a set of games to justify the kind of reactions we're already seeing. If the Knicks still look this bad 20 games in, then you have something to complain about.

Briggs fails second grade reading comprehension yet again.

I won't even mention the irony of Briggs making a "same guys with the same post" comment... oh wait, guess I did. darn.

People will be patient if they see a consistent effort and reasonably smart play. To this point, that's been pretty scarce.

Nixluva, you are an inspiration to kool-aid drinkers everywhere. I salute you my brother. You are the chosen one. I will follow your lead towards positivity, and continue to see the good through the bad and hope that change will come. I have seen winning basketball and it is good. I also believe within my heart that the knicks are a few games away from winning back our devotion and respect.

So what are you really saying? Are you saying that the team WON'T get better and will end up just as bad as last year? You're willing to make that determination after 4 games? Nothing that we're saying is unreasonable! I think taking the attitude that you know how the whole season is gonna go after 4 games is far from reasonable. I don't care how things went last year. There's really no way to carry that over completely this season. We knew this team would have defensive problems. What we didn't expect is the offensive problems and Frye in particular being so out of it. I don't expect that Steph and Jamal will stay in a slump the whole season. Also it is a reasonable thing to expect some help defensively when Jared gets back and gets adjusted. It can't hurt to have another defender with size.

It's fine to be pessimistic, but those of us who still believe in this team have a right to feel that way too.

lets patiently watch the Bulls draft Greg Oden and win another 6 titles. That should be fun :)

Take a good long look at your team Knick fans... a good long look

LOOK! This team is going thru a rough patch, but if you really think about what is going on this team can easily break out of this poor start and get things on track.

1. A big part of the poor start is the slump of some of our key players:

Frye 22% FG - 3.5 ppg - 4.5 rebs
Steph 34% FG - 12.5 ppg - 4.3 asts - 3 TO's
Jamal 21% FG - 9.3 ppg - 1.5 asts - 1.75 TO's

We definitely didn't expect these players to have such poor production. These are KEY players on this team. Add to the fact that none of these guys is great on D either and you can understand the losses. Once we get these guys heads screwed back on and they're production goes back up, then we'll start to see the real team. We can't afford for these guys to play this poorly.

When I talk about patience it's clear that this team isn't yet playing as well as it can. I think it's silly to assume that this is the Knicks real level of play and that they can't improve. OF COURSE THEY CAN. On any team in the league if you have 2 starters and your 6th man slumping you're gonna have problems.

The good news is that Q and Curry are playing well. Francis hasn't been that bad so far and there was some concern as to how he'd play. Lee and Nate are solid off the bench. Balkman and Collins have shown some nice moments for this team. We have another defender on the bench in Malik and Jared will eventually be back. Once Steph, Jamal and Frye get on track there's LOTS of room for this team to improve.

PATIENCE!!!!

Actually, Yogi said it even better:

"The other teams could make trouble for us if they win."

I think I may do nothing but quote Yogi for the rest of the season.

This team sucks, believe it they had 3 winable games and we have gotten blow out in the last three, last night was closer than it looked because they made a great run in the forth.

We have no shooters, rebounders or leadership out there. Nate looks better, Lee and Q do as well but everyone else is much of the same, and Crawford and Frye look worse
