The point that Lee compliments Curry is a good one. Lee is a guy who just wants to do the hustle plays. Frye is not. Pairing Lee with Curry makes a ton of sense. I also think Francis and Marbury should be split up. Start Marbury and Crawford. Bring Francis off the bench quickly if either is not performing well. Frye should then play with Cato. In Houston 2 years ago, Cato played pretty well. I think he could play 15 mpg and get some bounds and defend the lane. Frye would then have to post up on the 2nd unit.

To me that simple change, balances the team nicely.

I dont think they will go with the Cato experiment. I see them maybe putting the lesser player Oberta against Channing and let Curry play against Duncan. Either way not a good match up for the Knicks

start lee = wins

remember last year

Yeah, everyone remembers the wins, but most forget the 4 straight we lost right after that with Lee in the lineup. The loss of AD really hurt us.

"I would trade my own mother if I thought it would make us better"

Ergo, it would not be a surprise if Isiah sat both Steph and Stevie down... just to show he's not playing favorites.

If they even dream about planning a Spree-Camby mutiny, Zeke will have them both packing faster than you can say Neal Walk.

The best vibe backcourt is Mardy Collins and Jamal.

Mardy will think pass first and play defense. He has young legs.

Jamal will feed his boy Eddy in the post, or hear about it at halftime. There is no reason Eddy cannot average 18 ppg.

Slide Jared Jeffries in the forward slot and the entire chemical balance changes dramatically.

David Lee cleans the glass.

6-4 is probably the best record of any of LBS 83 lineupes!

misterearl, how do u know that Collins is the answer in the backcourt? he's played a grand total of 1 minute so far this season... i think he's best off coming off the bench... if anyone deserves to be starting based on their play this year, it's Nate.

as for Eddy averaging 18 ppg, he's already putting up close to 20 & 7 w/all the inconsistencies our G's have displayed this year... those #'s will probably come down a bit, but shouldn't tail off too much from that point now that he's finally beginning to assert himself on the offensive end of the floor on a consistent basis.

hey, he does look good man, i have to give that to you... but i still think he'd be better off coming off the bench... i would really like to see Q Rich starting at the 2.

Now you're going to tell me that you wanted him ahead of Maurice Wiliams.

Didn't think Marcus Williams would be there. I had him pegged as 8th or 9th at most.
