Briggs I like Eddy Curry as a Knick it is what Isiah gave up in picks that makes that trade so bad. My complaint is with the trade not Curry.

Yup, Marbury is the tripwire. Obviously, it's not my money, but it's not inconceivable that the cost of eating his contract might be cheaper in the long run than keeping him.

how many contracts can we eat a year? what a way to run a business--thats your plan--eat more contracts? put marbury on the Heat? please. please please. it's a bumbling, stumbling mess we must come out of via a FLUSH job. Im not convinced we have ANYTHING here whatsoever. No one player makes me say hmmm except Curry. D lee needs to lose the weight he put on--its noticeable in his play. Still I would consider a full flush and fill i would give D lee to the bulls for their pick next year and the arrangement dead.

Obviously, it's a suboptimal solution, but there really aren't any optimal ones available right now. You have to view it as a sunk cost.

As for whether or not it's my plan, it's almost like saying Democrats have no plan to fix Iraq. Well yeah, it's so FUBAR that there aren't any good solutions.

In the last two years Isiah has made two of the biggest mistakes in franchise history. The Curry trade and passing on Marcus Williams.

Three. He hired Larry Brown.

what would I do--I would call up the *contending* Bulls and give them an offer they cant refuse for my pick back. then I would go out and give a few more offers like that with almost anyone available--i mean i would chop this team to sht--thats step 1. i would try to prey on the bulls-the GM put up HUGE$$$$ and they are still in need--the draft pick+ their own might be something Id be very intersted in re-acquiring

But if the Bulls say no, which is likely, the other moves can't be made because they would only end up helping to ensure that the Knicks give up the rights to Noah or Oden.

So what's your Plan B?

I think the bulls might even concider taking Curry back - Wallace/Curry quite a combo inside... maybe Frye??? they need inside scoring... So frye or Curry.. take your pick for our draft pick back this year

We've done enough trades with the Bulls this century. You know Paxson has Zeke's number on speed dial.

i have plan B galore--there are 28 other teams.

i wonder if they would turn down a package of Q-Rich and Channing Frye for Malik Allen PJ Brown and both picks right about now?
