...especially since the Knicks weren't at full strenght themsleves. How come that doesn't count for anything? Pau is out, fine, that's something. But Swift was awful last year and who knows how much better he'll be this year. I hate the "they weren't at full strength" stuff. So do you think that the Suns are worse than the Lakers? The Lakers didn't have Kobe and they still won. Lamar was hot, as was Bynum and that helped shift the tide. This is the NBA, and anybody can get hot on any night and led someone to a win. Rudy Gay was hot last night, and I doubt Swift being there would've meant anything. And if Pau was there along with Jeffries, who knows what would've happened. Anyhow, we got the W and I for one was pleased with the fight in our dogs.
"It was good," Curry said. "I killed Malik, Jerome. The usual suspects. It felt good."

Actually it's not all complicated and sofisticated as TKF laid out. The game followed suit to how pre-season games were played. The Knicks can beat teams who don't have enough guns in their bullets but with Pau and Stromile Swift the Griz were fighting an uphill battle and almost prevailed. The Knicks will lose to teams at full strength. The next game they should win and then after that watch out.

well, look at it this way. Warrick got gasol minutes and he had a monster game, could you see gasol putting up much better numbers than that? and rudy gay looked better than swift has in years, swift scares no one. To say the knicks will lose to teams at full strength is not fair....

You can't look at Warrick's production in a TRIPLE OVERTIME game and say he=Gasol. Gasol routinely commands double teams. I can't wait to hear the excuse if 2 frontcourt players from this team goes down.

No one said Warrick equaled softer-than-buttered popcorn Gasol. We said Warrick made up Gasol's numbers last night, or conceived numbers anyway

Gasol aint dominating anyways. Second-tier player, at best

Pau Gasol if he would have played would of had curry on the bench in foul trouble probably early in the game. How dare you compare Warrick impact to a game with an all-star Pau Gasol..... is that fair ?

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Warrick would have started next to Gasol. There was no way that if Gasol is healthy that Fratello is throwing out a Gasol/Tskalidis front line. Warrick would have played either way.
