This game went the way it will not change any opinions.
Mediocre is mediocre. In this respect the team is same as last year.
We can lose or win with bad and average teams at 50/50 rate.
But it is no way to get wins from top 20 teams playing this way.
We need to play way better

this team was far beneath mediocre last season.

I hate when guys get on the refs. You don't blow a 19 point lead because of the refs. Stop blaming others. We blew a 19 point lead becasue we played poorly. And it's ridiculous to complain about the refs when on the game winning shot our guy took 10 steps.

Now that being said. A win is a win. Everyone makes a run in the NBA. Memphis made a run and could not finish. Last year when teams made runs at us we completely folded. Last night we struggled but gutted out a win. That's all that matters. Now I agree there are a lot of things we need to improve on if we want to complete for a playoff spot but it's early in the season. The key is now with our tough start to get as many wins as we can even if we do play sloppy. Give me 10 games of this sloppiness and then I will declare it a problem But for now, a win is a win.
