I hope the bandwagon can hold this year cuz a lot of dudes will be looking for a seat.

Haw! Well put. There's going to be a lot of: "I didn't say Isiah this, Marbury that, I said IF blah blah blah."

Search feature can't get here soon enough.

oohah

Who said I predicted 37 wins? Stop reading other peoples posts about me and then accepting them as fact!

I don't care about about doom and gloomers, flip floppers annoy me though. You understand what I mean fish-flopper #1?

Fishmikes favorite player? Whoever had the best game last game.

Does Fishmike think the team is good? Depends on whether they played good last night! Otherwise they suck and woever played badly must be traded.

But that's just part of your charm so I give you a:

By the way, hang your ass out there does not mean making an extreme/ridiculous prediction, or else I would have given you the "Hang Your Ass Out There Lifetime Achievment Award" for your work with Mike Sweetney and Frank Williams.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

It's about time you hung it. Wait a second, what will that number mean to you? Will you be happy or sad or indifferent?

What will it take to make you happy? Can you be happy while IT is there?

Until then I can only give you half an ass (hung out there.):

I'm new here, and the thing that intrigued me most was the fact that it was the most active after losses.

There are few here that run in pacts that use the doom and gloom sky is falling post loss effect to their benefit.

Just looking at the train wreck picture indicates the mood.

Most of the "optimistic" posters have been run off the board mainly by the "pessimists".

I've noticed some guys go from optimistic, to defensive, to offensive, to banned in little or no time.

It makes you afraid to actually agree with a positive post (this post in particular).

I say, if the knicks get a clean slate (0-0) than all of the posters deserve a clean slate as well.

it can't be all kool aid. Reality has to seep through.

I'm going to go with ## wins this year.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Let's clear a few things up... after games, our site gets active. Win OR lose.

The pack is running doom and gloom cause that's what the Knicks are showing us.

Most of the "optimistic" posters have been run off the board mainly by the showing of the Knicks, nothing less.

No one is banned for being optomistic, just twits.

This team is garbage. I say it now, and I will say it again even if we win the so called "sucessfull" 37 games.

Your the same guy who said in so many words "You hope the Kncks lose this yr because Brown got fired..." You lost a lot of points with that quote.

As far as defense goes, I agree with Zeke. I said it before and I'll say it again here: When judging a defense, its not about how much points you give up, its about FG%.

Its good to see that Cato is working with Curry. As CRZY said, Cato, once upon a time was a very godd defender. He can definitely give Curry some good tips from a defensive perspective.

The number of win and my happiness are not tied together. Realistically, I think 38 wins will happen and I'd be surprised by 40 wins and a possible shot at the 8th spot, but I am not holding my breadth.

Happy: The Knicks play hard EVERY game. Curry is the highlight of the season by playing smart and AVERAGING 33 minutes a game. Marbury and Stevie gel, somehow and/or one gets traded. Frye finally figures out how to play D or at least not embarrass himself on that end of the court. Q's back hold strong and his offense shows up. Big Game comes back healthy and is able to give consistant minutes.

OK, that last part I almost laughed at

That was a true ass-hanging. If all those things you hope happen do happen, they will win 50.

Here's your ass! Cherish it:

well, you never say much so I have to use other people's posts!

Favorite player on the Knicks: none. Its not that I dont like anyone, its just that there isnt any one player worth having as a favorite at this point. Unlike some I dont get inspired by 59 loss teams that quit. If a favorite player for me emerges I will keep you posted.

It think they are a below average team. They can score and have some decent players, but too many pieces that dont fit together. I have never wavered from this despite anything you think you have read.

I am glad somebody is trying to teach Curry something b/c he can be a force if he learns how to stop the offensive fouls and pass out of the post. If he can do that, we can start running more of our offense through him.

I'm watching sports on 1 on ny1.

Well they were showing practice footage of cato trying to explain to curry why he gets caught in so many charging. Cato was very animated and was really explaining the way I would or any good post player would explain it. One thing that has been over looked in the cato signing is his ability to defend curry in practice and make him better. Cato was trying to show curry how he would defend him and what curry should do instead of trying to drop the shoulder. He was showing curry to use his elbows to get around the defender instead of just dropping the shoulder. He was also trying to show him to go left. Awesome footage. You can clearly lip read what cato was saying. Awesome man. I loved seeing that.

As far as isiah, tom McDonald asked isiah about the curry manliness comments. Isiah said Howard beck printed that and McDonald was quick to say "no I heard you say it" isiah kinda snapped and told him well I'm not running from my comments. I like how isiah handles the media.

Well isiah went on to talk about defense and he brought up the major point about playing stall ball. Isiah said he is trying to win games and trying not to lose. He wants his players to attack. He made the point that just because you hold the ball and play stall ball and the scores see low and close doesn't mean you are playing defense. This is so true. He went on to talk about the teams he was on and how they could play defense and were great at it,they were trying to win and you have to be able to score the ball.

Awesome knick footage tonight.

All of the callers sound like you guys cuz they were talking about Larry brown and the fact the knicks always this and that. No one had anything to say about the now. Ny fans are not the most knowledgeable. At least not anymore. Just a bunch of spoiled brats.

i saw that footage, & it was nice to see Cato working w/Curry trying to help him out in the post... but you'd have to figure that Herb Williams & Mark Aguirre have probably been through all this w/him in the past, no? regardless of that, it's good for Curry to have someone to bang with in practice to keep him in shape.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Yep, they're dropping like flies. They've banned like five or six hundred people in just the past few days. Better be careful.

I hope I've been plenty wrong about the Knicks and they play really well in all facets of the game.

I don't understand how anyone can say that people on this site will be joining a bandwagon when everyone on this site is already a fan of the Knicks. Makes no sense to me.

If you don't see the fellows rejoicing in glee with every percieved setback then you are looking at a different board than I am.

If you are wrong and admit it, I find that commendable, and I certainly will if I am wrong. But I have held the same positions for quite a while now and I feel I will be vindicated.

But watch for the flip-flopper and "I never said that" Posse. You won't see me denying something I have said again and again, but I bet a lot of others will.

Search feature can't get here soon enough.

oohah

I believe that I've held the same positions for quite some time now and I feel that I'm becoming vindicated more and more each day.

But if I am ever proven wrong, I will gladly admit to it, as always.
