it is easier to criticize than say something positive-

One line last year in Vegas was 41 wins. They were wrong. There is a lag between perception and reality. Few people can see into the future, and none of them work on TV besides miss cleo.

Kenny is on serious crack if he thinks the knicks should have won 16 games last year.

Did he watch the games? Did he notice that Channing Frye, the second best rookie last season started the season on the inactive list? Did he watch David Lee start and have an impact on wins and losses, and suddenly not start or play as much for no real reason? Did he notice that LB set a record for most starting line ups, and changes had nothing to do with injuries or level of play, but more often with players birth or college town status?

Okay, whatever. It still doesn't change the fact that we won 23 games, quit on our coach, were blown out of most tv games by half-time, many by the end of the 1st quarter and embarrassed ourselves with our media bickering and lawsuits. Win games if you want to change this.

apparently reality isn't one of your better suits. Channing didn't play in the first game DNP-CD. And the starting line changes had nothing to do with injuries and more to do with home towns? Marbury, Curry, AD would have started the whole season if not for injuries and trades. Probably same with Q.

Don't you believe that we will WIN GAMES Bip? Are you like some of the guys around here still of the opinion that this team can't and won't win more games this year? If you do think they can win more games, why be so negative? The Knicks are at least showing signs of coming together as a team. They have a long way to go, but they've made progress in a lot of areas already. I've been reading so many negative media predictions for this team. They have us being anywhere from 9th -14th in the East. That's fine if you're only going to base this off of how they looked last year, but everyone is going to be in for a shock, cuz last year was a mirage. This team should never have been that bad. Not if they were coached properly from the start.

People want to bash Isiah and that's fine, but let's just remember that they predicted it might take him 5 years to get this team back to being competitive when he 1st got here:

"I can remember some of you wrote when I got here that it would take five years to do. Go back and check some of your articles. I haven't been here that long, but I think I like what we have and I'm not ashamed of what we have."

All we have to do is win this year and all of this negative media crap will go away. All of you guys who jumped off the bandwagon will be running to jump back on.

I remember before last season GAnthony said with Larry Brown 'The knicks will make the playoffs and Stephon Marbury will be an all star'

Same team, but now were basement doodoo.

They know nothing.

serves them right for actually being optimistic as long as deaf, dumb, and blind are running this team.

that would be dolan playing the role of deaf
isiah in his academy worthy performance of dumb
and mills in an unheralded supporting actor worthy blind

So if they were being optimistic then are they being pessimistic now?

Who the FUCK jumped off the bandwagon? This is the stupidest post I have seen on this board. WE ARE ALL KNICKS FANS! Just because some people do NOT like where the team is going and you do like it, does NOT and I repeat NOT make you ANY MORE of a Knick fan.

just goes to show how powerfull a reputation Larry Brown has, and how strong his history was of turning around bad situations. Same crappy management, but you add Larry and all of the sudden people think you will make the playoffs.

Hold on, let me explain what nixluva is trying to convey. Anyone who predicts 38+ wins is a fan, and anyone who predicted 37 or less is jumping off the Bandwagon.

Yeah it's pretty childish. I sometimes wonder how old some of the people are on this site. The same people come on here day after day after day, some posting 50+ times a day about the Knicks. And then we still have some posters saying they aren't fans. It's such an irrelevant topic. Just talk basketball. Explain why you hold your opinion. Leave the "who's a fan", "who's not a fan" stuff to yourself. If you predict 50 wins you are making an educated guess based on your opiniion of the makeup of the team. If you predict 35 wins you are also making an educated guess based on your opinion of the make-up of the team. Neither is right. They are both guesses and neither makes you a bigger fan than the other.

In summary sometimes it's tough to find mature people(such as myself) just willing to talk hoops.
