But I am not going sour on our second best player as a rookie for no observable reason.

Just curious. Who's our first best player?

joe, if you weren't busy regurgitating (sp?) other posters opinions of frye, then maybe we'd stop calling you a hater.

Yeah....he hasn't earned the title yet but he isn't fast enough for PF's, not strong enough for centers. I know what they call players like that.

I don't agree that he isn't fast enough for PF's. The same guys he has trouble handling have been busting everybody else's asses too. Some players are that good. I don't think Frye will ever be Ron Artest on defense.

currently, our first best player (whatever that means) is Marbury.

Francis is damn close though.

looks like when joe gets pushed into a corner with logic one of the seatsblueseats brothers jumps in and asks a stupid question.

Man...you guys are making me sound like islesfat (is he fat?) getting upset with your posts.

I take it back...continue as you were.

go knicks.

It's not a stupid question, my hyperactive little friend. I think we all understand this team is going no where so long as Overratedbury is our best player.

Asked who's the face of the franchise, Dolan said, "I don't know yet. It's too early. If we knew that, we'd have a better record."

It wasn't so long ago that some had high hopes for us because Ariza and Sweets would evolve into our best players. Before that it was F-Will and Lampe. Now it's Frye and Curry (who some speculate shouldn't play together.)

I'm just charting the progress of our evolution, and right now Toxicbury is still our best player, but he's deteriorating faster than the others improve. So where are we really?

Congrats on the championship King and I agree fully about Frye. He has the skills to do so much more out there on the court but he just doesn't seem to do it. I hope they cut Jalen, he really has absolutely no role on this team and he could possibly take time away from a guy like Balkman. Time to cut bait.

RV Kiss my ass. I told you to ignore me once before and you cried "Why you have to be like that?"-don't make me look up the post and embaress you again. Now that we all know you're Mabel Marbury, we all know we can't have an objective discussion with you-as if past evidence wasn't enough. Either way, ignore me. I got better things to do than argue with you.

And about "regurgitating other posts, that usually happens when information you feel is correct is posted by another poster. Watch, I'll make a post right now that I bet will be regurgitated by most of the board:

RVHoss has little to no knowledge of actual basketball other than what her son Stephon has told her, and usually doesn't have the motivation or common sense to research information before posting thus leading to incorrect "facts" are indeed spewed all over UK. RVhoss also has the reading comprehension of a 2 yr. old, and is also a dip****.

Guys, I don't mind, the post is not copyrighted, you have my premission. Regurgitate away.

waaaaa. waaaaa. the two haters are hating on me now.

Waaaa. waaaaa.

Just stick to hating the knicks...I'm not too worried about these posts, all I see are asterisks which me an inability to convey an opinion without foul language.

You call them incorrect facts, I call them opinion and rounding. But you're probably only in high school (assuming by your posts) so you will learn that when you mature a bit.

waaaa. waaaa.

In terms of the knicks, I think I have to agree BlueSeats in that we don't have a top gun knick yet...marbs, francis, curry and qrich laid claim to the title last night against our arch rivals.

I'd have to say it's one of those 4 at this point.

That's a great question btw the more I think about it.

Who is your favorite knick or our "first best player"?

nyk4ever and joec, feel free to keep trying to bash me and avoid all adult conversations. waaaaa. waaaaa.

Hater, Hater Hater....you used that word more than you change your underwear. If you believe I avoid adult conversation cool. Don't respond to me. Stop trying to call me out. You did it once and tripped because you backpeddled so fast. Now you call me out and then assert that I was the one who started it? Not only do you have reading comprehension problems, you also seem to have reading, and chronological issues.

If you feel I can't engage adult conversation fine. You have your belief and I don't wish to change it because, well, I really don't value your opinion as some of the others on this board as you have yet to back up one fact you have ever posted and have yet to had a conversation that has not denegrated into you calling people "haters" and "not real Knick fans".

I'm here to discuss the Knicks, and I personally feel you really know nothing about them. You seemed ok to give your opinion on my basketball knowledge in another thread-first-so I will return in kind. Do I think you really care what I think? Well I myself haven't thought about it much because I really don't care.

And before you start all the "hater" crap again and that I am insulting you because you are a "real fan", let me first say Nixluva at the very least is capable of supporting his own theories and ideas. You have no such talent. If you want to be antagonistic fine. Go ahead. But obviously, if you are as high and mighty as you say you are you won't respond to this or any of my posts in the future-because I know damn well it leads nowhere when I respond to yours.

Keep on crying RV, Keep on crying, I imagine you tend to do alot of that at night since all of us "haters" can't understand the new and emotional NY Knicks.

Good luck with those "adult conversations", hoss. I have a feeling you'll need it.

You couldn't be more wrong! Any great coach can/will adjust to the pieces given to them (See Riley's Lakers/knicks and 2 totally different heat teams.

See, thing is...that philosophy only really applies if you have a team that is ready to win now. When you are trying to build a team, you have to lay the foundation in both philosophy and players. If you take a coach that will just coach the players on a young team, and not try to build it right, you end up like the Warriors, The TWolves, or the Bucks.

Teams that actually laid a foundation and got players to fit around that are the Spurs, PHX, New Jersey, Philly under LB...

You have to be able to incorporate strengths and weakness into your strategy, but there also has to be some type of base philosophy that the team can rally around. LB tried that here-and although I always will agree that is the right focus to take to build a winner, it was obviously the wrong thing to try with these players. Isiah isn't establshing any focus. He isn't saying "This WILL be what we do well", he is saying "Well, we'll see what we can do and just try to stick to that".

VERY WELL SAID JOE.

NY's foundation must be laid or we are another exciting team to watch and the only thing we have to look forward to is indivdual accomplishments from our players.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

We've had Chaney, then Lenny coach the players. Mediocre results without really going anywhere.

LB was the only one we had that tried to instill a philosophy-a phliosophy that if combined with the strengths of the players could have been an amazing team.

Now Isiah is here to just coach the players. We are gonna be better than last year. No doubt, but it is going to be something that we aren't gonna be able to actually build on.
