I still would have liked to have seen what Larry could have done this time around. We obviously have a problem with defense and I think Larry was trying to straighten that part out, and it's un-finished. The problem is, I think Zeke is a good offensive coach and Larry is a good defensive coach, but we can only have one.
The NBA is changing all their rules to emphasize offense- no more foreman above the block, no 2 hands, etc.
Larry wanted to build the 90's knicks and that team would not do well in today's game.
Offense, speed and quickness.
There might still be problems with our D, but I am looking forward to a season where we can actually score points and run offense that isn't a grind it, dribble it out offense.

If Larry really wanted to get rid of Marbury, he wouldn't have ripped him in the press and ruined his value. He would have set him free, made him happy, got him 20 & 8 and went to isiah and said, we can't win with this guy, - look at our record- youth is the way to go, lets trade him.
