You trade anyone on the Knicks frontcourt for Carlos Boozer. If anyone said they wouldn't, you deserve everything you get.

What has boozer done that I should think he can help this franchise to be a title contender? People really don't understand the dynamics of team play. Boozer on a good team is a great piece, but if you get rid of REAL Center that commands doubles and bring in Boozer, he doesn't really do much for you. We'll get enough rebounds this year to make this team win. We don't need Boozer's scoring, so all he really brings is a bit more rebounding. I say it's not worth giving up your 23 yr old Starting Center.

Nixluva, what has Curry done to even warrant being a starter? Kurt Thomas had better numbers. Apparantly, the Knicks do not understand the dynamics of team play either. And by your standards, Elton Brand wouldn't make any sense either.

If you don't think Boozer would help the Knicks, you are fooling yourself.

Boozer is 6'9, scores inside at a better clip than Curry and he rebounds at a much better clip than Curry, not even comparable. Boozer is also a hard-nosed player, something this team sorely lacks and that kind of attitude can rub off on other players on the team. Moving Curry for Boozer also allows Frye to move to the Center position where he scores better, rebounds better and defends better statistically. This trade makes complete sense for the Knicks. Curry is an overweight liability and his value is as high as its going to be, the Knicks should cut bait with him now, while they still can and in this trade they would get a better play and a player that would fit this team much better.

I don't know guys why you are so hard on Eddy
He is very effective 20 min player on offense.
He can be used from the bench in 4-5 min stretches in each quote.
Especially against second units when defense is not such a big liability.
I know we give up to much for this type of usage but you cannot bring back yesterday.
We need to use the guy to our advantage in best possible way.
It will be very beneficial for him too to put him in situation when he must prove that he deserve better role that backup

I'd trade Curry for Boozer in a heartbeat. But then I'd get down on Boozer and trade him for Alan Henderson and a 2nd round pick.

Boozer is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen. I watched him a lot while i was in school (just graduated from ohio state and my roomates were cav fans, so i watched almost everygame for the last 5 years). Hes a solid rebounder and decent hustle player but id rather have DLee starting then trading for booz. What a bum.

OK first of all don't even mention Boozer in the same sentence as Brand. 2nd Brand is a different kind of player and for the most part is shooting short jumpers. Brand is a BIG TIME player and Boozer is not. What I'm speaking of when it comes to the effect Curry can have is not his point total, but his presence on the floor. He hasn't learned to fully exploit the fact that he draws doubles and triples yet, but that is what he does. In fact he helps our other players get open shots even when he's not scoring, cuz teams KNOW that he'd score if they didn't pay attention to him. As it is he's shooting 70% in the preseason. Of course that's a highly inflated number, but the guy was behind only Shaq in FG% last year. Boozer is more productive but he doesn't WARP a defense in the same way that Curry does. Curry's like a massive planet which draws in smaller moons due to his gravity. Teams tend to cheat in towards the low post when he's in there. This leaves our other players with tons of room to shoot or make their move to the basket. Boozer is productive, but teams don't feel compelled to deal with him the same way as Curry. If a team single covered Curry all game he'd go off on them and they know it. Also once our guards get better at feeding Curry more often and in different ways, that will help him too. They have to realize how important he is to our game too. I like Boozer, but I wouldn't trade Curry for him.

I would do a Curry/Boozer trade, but not that one. I want Ronnie Brewer plain and simple. If I could get him back without giving up Lee I would certainly sign on for that. I'm not taking Fisher back, no way no how. Curry/Nate for Brewer/Boozer has potential. I would included Balkman or Collins if it was a stopping point. Then Frye moves to center, his natural position and Boozer to PF.

I wouldnt want to trade Curry or Jclutch for Boozer. But I'd like Boozer with Curry on occasion. Why not trade Marbury for him instead?
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

No but neither does Marbury. Work that trade. Keep Curry and Jclutch

work the trade to do what exactly? Not sure why we would trade marbury for boozer yet. Would that move lee deeper in the rotation?

Just trying to wrap my head around the logic behind trading marbury for Boozer if it doesn't improve the team.

To dump Marbs insane contract and questionable attitude for a younger cheaper guy that would help solidy our front court.
Curry/Frye
Boozer/Lee

More Booze and less Starbury can't hurt.

What if Francis/Frye could land KG.

Front rotation of Booze/Eddy/KG/Dlee/Cato-JJ
Jeffries/Balkman/Dlee
Craw/Q/Special Nate/Jail'n

Very Flexible lineup.

Best of all, no Franbury.

But Marbury in Salt Lake City is so not gonna happen. But I'd sign up a pay-per-view to see a reality show of Marbury's first few hours in his new city. MormonBury!

but don't we all prefer to just see how Lee and Frye work out before we regulate them to the bench?

I mean, is this coming year's win loss total more important than progress?
