KT was never a locker room problem as a Knick. He just said what several players wanted to say about one player.
Its ironic how the problems with that one player turn out.

PG1 has a problem with KVH so they trade him for TT who ends up disliking PG1 as well.

PG1 almost gets his butt kicked by KT so they trade him for Qrich who ends up wanting to kick PG1's butt as well.

who's PG1??? That sounds familiar

did Kurt have a bad year? His minutes were down, but his production scoring wise was almost identical per 48 minutes between last year with Marbury and last year with Nash. Only his rebounding went down (probably something to do with playing next to Marion) and his FG% was better with the Suns.

If you watched them I thought he played pretty well for them.

Almost identical scoring? He didn't play 48 minutes. His per game averages went from 11 and 10 with NY to 8 and 7. Sure, he played 9 less minutes per game, and that can be attributed to 2 things: how effective he was vs other players on the squad, and his ability to be out on the court running up and down. Furthermore, when you play in a system that has about 20+ more possessions per game, if your per 48 is the same as the previous year, it is actually a decline in production. But I'm not trying to bash Kurt, he was solid here, can't say I was sad to see him go, but he was a solid player for us. I just can't read posts about how we could have traded trash for him AND got a pick or how effective he would have been had we made this magical trade for him. Its pure fantasy.

The bottom line is, he was not as effective out there, and he is getting old, breaking down, and hes really nothing special, period.

how about monitoring his minutes for the playoffs? they're 10X deeper than we were.

but that is just MHO.

he was injured this past year, but wasn't he healthy for like 5 years straight with the Knicks? Flat footed and can't jump but he sure can play basketball. Not like the speedy Curry or Frye.

bringing KT back would be more of the same old spinning your wheels type move that this franchise has been known these past few years... let's let go of the past & move forward into the future.
