what about Curry for Boozer and Brewer. Gives you a lot of long athletic players (that play D). He's a Josh Howard mold.

Then I think your more balanced.. I also think Curry fits better w/ Okur.

C - Frye/Turd
PF- Boozer/Lee
SF- JJSkinny/Balkman/Brewer (really a 2/3)
SG- Frabury/Q/Nate
PG- Franbury/Crawford

Just wait for the bad contracts to go away I guess.

TMS, you're right that you cannot trade Curry or Frye for Pietrus. Just not smart trading. However, I wouldn't mind that Crawford for MP trade, IF IF IF IF IF you can find another guard down the line who can shoot the rock at least as effectively as Jamal Crawford. With that said, you'll still have to shop Francis and/or Marbury. With or w/o that trade, we still have an absolutely awful glut.

i just think Pietrus gives us the same things that Jared Jefferies & to some extent, Balkman does... Crawford gives this team something none of the other guys do, which is big shot making ability & versatility at the G position... anyway, i don't think GS would ever make that trade because of Jamal's longterm contract, so to make it work you'd have to throw in some other desirable parts, like Balkman, which i am unwilling to do... even if we were to sign a guy like, say Kareem Rush, to take Jamal's spot at the backup SG, i don't know that the trade would necessarily improve this team going forward

C - Curry / Turdmeister
PF - Frye / Lee / Malik
SF - Jefferies / Q Rich
SG - Francis / Pietrus / Rush
PG - Marbury / Nate
IA - Collins / Jalen / Skittles

or

C - Curry / Turd-a-licious
PF - Frye / Lee / Malik
SF - Jefferies / Q Rich / Balkman
SG - Francis / Crawford
PG - Marbury / Nate
IA - Collins / Jalen / Skittles

it's close... neither team would be really all that much better to contend in the future imo... the guy we need to get rid of is either Marbury or Francis.

a Malik & Nate for Pietrus straight up deal would be the ideal... then sign Jay Will & let him fight it out w/Collins for the 12th man spot:

C - Curry / Turd-a-rama
PF - Frye / Lee
SF - Jefferies / Q Rich / Balkman
SG - Francis / Pietrus
PG - Marbury / Craw / Jay Will or Collins
IA - Collins or Jay Will / Jalen / Skittles

Pissin' my pants with the "Turd" stuff. Jerome James is so friggin' bad I can't take it.

like u said in the other thread, i don't if Larry Brown would be giving Jerry Sloan any glowing scouting reports on Eddy Curry anytime soon... but who knows... i'd make that trade in a heartbeat if it were on the table...

i proposed a Jamal, Frye & Malik trade for Boozer & Brewer on the other thread... it's a better package so probably a trade Sloan would be much more interested... & i really like Brewer's upside so i'd be willing to make a trade like this... Boozer would be a nice rebounder to play alongside Curry in the starting rotation.
