The team looks a little out of synch tonight. I think Boston's pressure defense is bothering them. Hopefully, they can work it out in the 2nd quarter.

notice one thing--weve been owned in the 1st q every game so far while giving up HUGE points--and every game we played we did not play against the other teams main guys. these still point to ominous signs.

I wouldn't worry too much about tonight's first quarter.

Our starters pretty much had the game tied up (or down by like 1 or 2 points) with Boston's starters until Isiah put Clark and the scrubs in which is when Boston started to make a run.

The defense wasn't good at all though, even from the starters.

wow, delonte just blocked Curry...that gets old

That was a great block by West. If I were Curry, I would want to dunk on somebody's head after getting blocked like that. The team is down by 23, they need to pick it up.

Celtics are healthy not missing Pierce and Delonte this game and look at what's happening a freakin route.

3 Major negatives still remain on this team that existed in the other previous joke pre-season games

1. This team suckks Donkey Balls shooting from the arc

2. They are not good defensively(see every 1rst qrt of every PS game so far)

3. Too many lazy fouls are committed.

Well, at the same time, you won't see Earl Clark in, Paul Miller, etc, when it is a close game. The Celtics started to go on a major run when we put those guys in.

Either way, the rotation as a whole isn't playing well anyway. They look like they don't know what they want to do on offense and the defense has been bad.

Btw, good call Briggs on Rondo. I remember you hyping him up a year or two ago. I've been watching the Celts preseason games and he has looked real good.

We need to start Lee at SF until Jeffries comes back. Rose, even for 15 minutes a game, will get torched as he showed in the 1st quarter. We already knew that anyway.

You can't have it both ways because when the Knicks were winning the other games playing against other teams scrubs and main players out with inury no one would really acknowledge this. Also those 2 guys played 4 and 5min respectively and can't be held responsible as to why the Celtics built a 27pt halftime lead. Shouldn't the Knicks be a little more comfortable in Zeke's new offense that gives them more freedom. Why is there confusion, this offense is so much better for them. I'm not suprised at all with the results from this game it's pretty much what I expected.

Not true tonite. We were in the game in the first Q (even had a lead) until Isiah put Miller, Brown etc in the game.

You can't expect them to grasp the toatl concept of this offense in 3-4 preseason games. It may take until January before they feel 100 comfortable with everything the offense askes of them.

Actually it is true. Although the Knicks were right there and had the slimest of lead, the Celtics were still on pace to score close to 30 in the qrt regardless.

Then we shouldn't be reading articles in the paper about how wonderful this offense is and how the players get it until we see the team execute it against healthy teams in meaningful games.

LOL! The dude has 4TO in 22min of play..... Oh and only 2reb! Eddy is what he is, when will folks wake up and accept this. Actually they should run the offense through Frye. Get him involved so he can cause match-up problems and not get himself into foul trouble all the time playing next to a bum in Curry.

January, huh? Well, guess your taken the over because I heard somewhere the over/under before the "best" player quits is 1 month or 8 games....

You're a dolt. They couldn't stop Curry the other night and we still didn't give it to him enough. Now, you want to make a judgement over a half of basketball where they aren't getting him to ball. They should also go to Frye, but both should be getting it in scoring positions more than they are.
