First Pre season game, Curry will be alright, he will improve. Besides what is everyone here looking for in him. You want a 20-10 player It won't happen with this team especially when it is so guard heavy and the guards are use to shooting. He will never get the ample amounts of shot in a course of a game it will always be inconsistent. His defense will get better as he plays more and more in preseason. I like the hard foul on Jefferson, he was late on the rotation but he had a sense that he should be there now all he has to do is recognize the play and be there a little earlier. Timing is what you are suppose to work on in Preseason and I have a very good feeling that Isiah will get him hungry to accomplish things on the defensive end.

As for the fouls he still needs to work on certain type of offensive moves but there is no denying that he has good hands and is agile for a big man with that said he will always have a high percentage in shooting.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

i'm looking for frye and lee to more than pick up the slack...if curry gives us what he gave us last year I'd be happy. seriously.

Lee and Frye improving and the signing of jefferies is money in the bank.

Did you all see the small lineup zeke went with, lee, balkman, jj2 manning the paint.

With our running style I'm not sure we can be beaten into submission.

Bulls? Come on man...just like many players form that championship year, when they are not surrounded by each other they fail miserable (see LB).

I didn't even notice curry wasn't playing due to who was out there performing.

But yes, after one pre season game, curry looked similar, but this one was more agile.

I believe the nets center had 2 offensive fouls (one more than curry).

no worries, if that's all you guys got after that game, I'll take it.

we will have a better record than the bulls this year anyway.

IMO, Eddy Curry isnt a franchise talent. He is more of a situational monster. He can be extremely effective against some teams and a complete liability against other types. They gotta decide his minutes on a game by game basis. I'd like to see a game like tonites. Any idea if its televised later?

I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I think the point was that Eddy does this once in a while and it shows his enormous potential, but then he drops to pedestrian numbers-or just above average numbers. I'll take a glimpse at Eddys' 20+, 10+ games and the games right after.

12/7 -Clips- 24 and 11
12/9 -Phx- 11 and 6

1/27 -Orl- 27-10
1/28 -Phi- 5-5

3/4 -Mil- 20-11
3/7 -Ind- 15-2

Curry had a few 15ish and 10ish games-to be fair-but he also had alot of those 5-5 games.

Some Knicks under LB last season had great games followed by dnps. Thats not excusing EC totally but there were agendas at work with LB tht sure didnt help the case.
