criticizing the knicks, when they don't do well it, is something they all do.
Criticizing those that see a future in the knicks and confidence in our future, that's something completely different.
If you guys stay away from personal attacks and "ganging up" on the "kool aidaholics" I think you would find that you can generally post in peace.
But to sit back and say that all you do is criticize the knicks when they are playing poorly...well, that's an understatement IMHO.
Calling a player a Cancer, then extolling his virtues when he's playing well is a bandwagon fan, pure and simple.
sorry, I calls them likes I sees them.
Find one post where I tell someone to stop being positive. That's my point. You can't find it because I don't do it. I make a point about the Knicks. Other guys argue around my point about how you need to stop being positive/negative about the Knicks and you attribute this to me. All I do is make fun of all you guys that run around telling people they aren't knick fans when they spend their time on this sight. I don't care about the "positive" or "negatives" people on the site. I just want to talk basketball. That' always my point with you. Stop attributing other people's quotes and opinions to mine. You do it over and over and over and over and over and over again. The only time I bristle is when a Knick does something negative I comment on it and "the secret positivity police come on to bash me for being negative". When I wasn't negative I was just commenting on what I saw. A sample conversation would go like this:
Bip: "man I can't believe after the offseason that Eddie Curry may still be out of shape. He really needs to get in shape if we are going to do well"
Secret positivity police: "how dare you say such a negative thing. You are such a jerk. You need to die, or root for the Nets. You are an idiot and nothing. Now that being said I agree with you that Eddie Curry needs to get in shape..............."
As for my opinion of the Knicks. Again find a post that says I don't think they have a future. As a matter of fact there is a post, that I started that about my opinions of the players. I started it specifically FOR YOU, so that you would stop misquoting me and attributing other people's opinions to me. YOu read it and did it anyway. That once again, is flaming, not posting, or contributing. But that's pretty much what I've come to expect from you. I guess that's your "style".
Cancer-who have I called a cancer. Is this an allusion to me calling Steph a cancer? There is another post 80 miles long at midseason of last year when I was attacking fans that were calling for Marbs to be boo'd. I argued with Blueseats for about a month about how I agree that Marbs has faults and is not a leader but that it is not his fault that we were losing. A few months later somehow I'm calling the guy a cancer. All I call for is the balancing of the roster so that we can improve. I'm called a pessimist. Isiah fades out and cuts the same people I mentioned and he is called a genius. It's so weird and odd to me. I state that we need role players and defensive guys that will not demand the ball and will just accept a secondary role. I'm called a pessimist who hates the Knicks. Isiah goes out and drafts and signs defensive players and role players and says this is what we needed and he is not a pessimist, he is a genius. I have an opinion on what the team needs to get to a championship level. I state that opinion. The funny thing is the people making the moves here seem to have the same opinion.
It's simple. I start a post by asking a question. The "negative" posters respond first because they don't hate me. Their opinions somehow become my opinions. Then the "secret positivity police" come on and start attacking me for being negative, when all I did was ask a friggin question. Before you know it, I'm sleeping with LB and sticking a bat up marb's asse trying to make it come out of his mouth.
If you want my opinion on a player or coach instead of trying to imagine or invent one for me, why not just ask? When a player complains to the press about his coach instead of playing I will bash him. When a player doesn't compalin to the press and instead jsut plays I will not bash him, because he did as I wanted him to do. If a player is fat and out of shape, I call him fat and out of shape. When that same player is not fat and in shape I stop calling him fat and out of shape. Is this bandwagoning or just being honest, objective and consistent with your treatment of a player. I don't play favorites. I can love a player even if they do wrong. I can criticize a player and still think he is the greatest. You think this is impossible so this is why you continue to think I'm bashing players when I am just calling it the way I see it.
