Briggs, I agree with you 100% Curry is a nice player, but this isn't looking good. People can paint me whatever they want. I'm a Knicks fan and I'm a realist. I don't know if the Knicks are good enough to make the playoffs and if they don't they could be missing out on Oden and Noah, which will be absolutely killer. We've already missed out on Tyrus Thomas, now Oden or Noah?

As long as Jefferies isn't a total liability at the line this season, I have no problem. If we have Steph, Crawford, Frye, and Curry on the floor with him, how many shots do you really want him to take?

It's not that you want him to take a lot of shots, its that teams will double off of him and force the action to him. See Anderson, Shandon.

See Charles Oakley.

Though Oakley grabbed double digit boars, saved possessions, played tough interior D and actually hit open jumpers at the start of games keeping defenses honest.

If Jefferies can do some of the same things he is a welcome addition.

I was thinking the same thing as PhilinLA- but Oakley in his later years had some monster offensive games- they were atypical, but largely involved hitting jumpers.
