Crawford took big steps last year. His defense became average to above average.. his shot selection improved, and he learned how to play throught the bumps and bruises to contribute. He sublimated his game to move the ball... he was a team player and never quit. I don't see how you reward that by coming off the bench. The guy deserves to start. Franchise will start, because they will desperately try to raise his value/ or Marbury's value ... to trading for an expiring contract. I don't think that is possible.. but I hope at some point it becomes reality.

I definitely think based on the way everyone handled last year that Jamal earned a starting spot more than almost anyone. But.......I think for the good of the team and team chemistry Steve and Steph have to get the majority of the PT. Without it they will whine. Jamal will be a good soldier regardless.

I don't credit Brown for much, but for some reason Crawford seemed to get Brown - I think probably because he was the first target and realized before anyone else that it was Brown's way. whatever. I think Crawford should start. I wish we could see it happen, but it won't with Francis here.
