I expressed my disappointment(not outrage) at the fact that one breath JB was sold to us as a "lottery pick" and then the next breath let go. You corrected me and said that you beleived he said "first rounder". Whether he said "first rounder" or "lottery pick" still doesn't change the point of my argument. You apparently think it does. Thus.........Semantics.

The NY Knicks have announced the signings of fishmike, martin, kill4luv and marv to multi-year contracts. Terms were undiclosed although there was a rumor that one of the players will receive David Hassellhoff's original Knightrider vehicle.

We don't argue over whether we need to improve our rebounding or not. We don't argue over our record. We don't argue over MoT being a good signing or not. We generally all agree we just argue about how people word things.

Example one person says we are a "bad" defensive team. The other person says we are a "really bad" defensive team. they spend 45 days arguing over who was right. One person says Frye is a "solid" rebounder, another person says he is an "average" rebounder. 45 more days arguing. One person says that the combination of Frye and Curry together is not a strong rebounding duo and needs improvement. Another says they are an okay rebounding duo and need improvement. 45 more days. I just find it silly that's all.

Some guys argued with me for 2 months about how I had such a drastic low view of the team, then when I asked him his prediction on win totals it turns out his total was the exact same as mine. After a while it becomes pointless.

It's gotten to the point that if you don't say anything glowingly happy about the team someone will over-react and throw a fit. I don't hate the team. I don't think Frye is that bad a rebounder(although he needs improvement-uh oh). I'm not devestated by losing JB(although it's a shame he's gone and JJ is here). I don't hate Isiah(although he has made many poor moves). Let's not over-react to every single friggin word someone writes. Stop showing our collective low self-esteem from the beatings we've gotten from the team and our non Knick fan friends. And realize we are all almost on the exact same page about the state of the Knicks. Some people just word it differently. Take the time to understand the point someone is trying to make, not analyzing every word.

Now something, anything, please happen so we can argue about real events instead of inventing arguments.
