There are no isiahites. I can't tell you how much I hate seeing that. There is such a thing called over kill. I think a lot of you guys over do it. A winning season will turn this around. If isiah aint here the only people that will make a big deal about it is you guys.

This made sense because Taylor was not going to help chemistry and we really can not make anymore expiring contract deadline deals anymore. this guarantees taylor comes off the books and that some attempt at getting a more reasonable cap number is being made. if we just sit tight and dont trade our expiring deals the cap goes from 140 million this year, to around 67 million next year. I know thats not great but it is much better. was waiving taylor great no, but some of you are just overreacting, this move doesnt hurt or help Isiah in my eyes.

What Isiah said after he traded for Mo T:
When you look at, the way I looked at Vin Baker and Moochie Norris contracts, we have two years of those contracts, we take on an additional year with Maurice Taylor, but we get the benefit of, in my opinion, the better player for these two years. Also, if you look at what's happening with expiring contracts, that's really how some teams are acquiring talent if you're not under the cap. With Maurice Taylor's third year, it becomes an expiring contract, which becomes a huge asset to us.

What a lying arsehole.

Who else throws away assets like Isiah does? Between buying out players (Shandon Anderson, Allan Houston and Mo T) and throwing 1st rd draft picks, including lottery picks, away in trades (2 in the Marbury trade and 2 in the Curry trade) it's amazing to think what a real GM would have been able to do with those kind of assets to go with the bottomless payroll.

Am I over-reacting as much as everyone else over-reacted when Brown was crucified for the problems of the Knicks for the last 9 years? No, I am not.

I'm thinking one of Steph's cousins must have been put in charge of the buyout.

i dunno, we did overkill the expiring contract thing just a few months ago. at the time he said it, we had marbury and were missing houston, so mo's deal could have gotten us a good piece. since then, we brought in curry, jalen and francis with expiring deals, kind of making any taylor deal redundant all over again.

i didn't like the mo T trade at the time. i'm glad he's gone and not in a kmart trade or something ridiculous like that. both of those sentiments are an indictment of IT. still, i'm really surprised that the guy who was the 10th or 11th player on our roster is stirring up this much anger with IT, though. wow, some IT haters (not meant as an insult or anything) really came out of the woodwork on this one.

Is it a huge deal? Probably not but it's just the fact that the mismanaging of the Knicks keeps going and going and going with no end in sight.

so he made mistakes with expiring contracts in the past and he is now trying to correct them! whatever. do you guys trust Isiah to do something good with Mo T's expiring money? I dont so its fine that he is waived. I'd rather him be saved till the trade deadline to see what can be done but whatever!

I really don't understand the reasoning that it's ok to squander assets since you believe Isiah would have messed it up anyway. That doesn't make any sense.

Hold up, did you just refer to Jalen, Francis, and Marbury as bad contracts?

Its dumb that isiah waived him. He should have just ignored him like penny.

So he's waived. That means its done. Move along. Why is it so important that to bad mouth isiah so hard everytime he does something. Its stupid now.

I hate layden and I might be tempted to eat his first born but even he didn't get torn into as bad as isiah has. Layden didn't make one good move. Every single move he made was idiotic and there was nothing good about him. Still he never got raped with the stuff you guys write about isiah.

Again I respected brown till he got here still I never ran him over with all this nonsense. My signature says how I feel about brown.

I tell you man you guys are killing me with all this bull****. Its disgusting. Talk basketball.

Why negotiate a buyout when you can waive him and pay full price?

Pathetically pathetic. They have no clue what they are doing. LOL @ the people who still support mgmt.

Assets. Please! You would have been the first one sniffing up Isiahs A** had he traded Mo T's expiring contract for another contract with extended years.

Whats the difference, put Mo on the bench to rot and complain or cut your loses now and open up a roster spot?

We bringing out the "Layden" card now? What, Stalin was really worse than Hitler?

Ok, Nalods take. We cut Mo. T, so what! Can a dude change his mind?

The plan has gone awry and now we cutting lose and getting in young guys and letting Mo. T find his minutes somwhere else.

Isiah let things get out of hand, but we ain't adding anymore payroll.

Better we Let Mo. T go and give minutes to David Lee!

Let Jailin go also!

Letting Mo go is moving forward. Isiah can't undo the past.

but he sure is going to pay for it!
