It's funny because you can make an argument for any player either way except for the rookies because we havent' seen them.

I don't dislike Balkman personally. I see a possible role player off the bench who may help sometime down the road. I'm just annoyed how the Isiah fans make him out to be the greatest pick ever, just because Isiah picked him. If Layden drafted Balkman with the #59 it would've been called a bad pick by the same fans who loved Balkman at #20. Isiah drafts Balkman 30 slots too high and the backers defend it to the death.

So, no, I hope Balkman succeeds, but I'm voting against him because I'm annoyed that we passed up Marcus Williams and how the fans have already decided that he's awesome when he got torn apart by Ron Artest in preseason. I would much rather have Trevor Ariza.

I hear what you're saying about the pick probably being too high and fans loving him too much but I do like him as a player. I respect that he appears to be in top shape physically and plays hard. Those are two completely foreign concepts to JJ and Mo Taylor and the playing hard part is a foreign concept to half the roster.

Jerome is a serviceable big man in the middle should we play against the shaqs and dampier's of the league. WE need a body that can absorb fouls. I also think he could even lock down big ben.

Unfortunately, there is no spot on the roster for MoT (expiring), and Malik (undersized and completely replaceable by DLee ... who btw is leading the voting)

as much as most people hate jerome, he's a center and he's big and he's got just as much of a chance of coming into camp in shape as Curry.

If they both come in in shape, look out league.

Looks like we have a package of malik and francis for KMart in the making.
