no!!!!!!miles is the oppositeof q!!!!q likes to win miles no q has a heart miles no!!!!!y not francis for miles and a first round pick next year

Damn, barely playing on one 60 win team for one season means you like to win games? I think that deserves the biggest "Half Ass" award I can think of. I seem to remember that Q Rich was right there losing games with Miles out there in Clipperland, yeah since they were drafted the same year. And continue to lose games after Miles was traded. But I guess he was hurt alot more by the losing, explains his bad back.

If we get Dairy-Ass, what overpaid brain dead players in the NBA are left for us to acquire?

my God, look at our roster the last few years?

Too bad Derrick Coleman is retired!

Panos, i'd take either 1 of those guys in a heartbeat over Darius "underachiever" Miles... you won't ever have to question the effort level of those guys at least... Miles? for all the talent this kid is supposed to have & all the physical tools & ability, a career statline of 10 & 5 is pretty damn ridiculous.

Clearly Miles has shown more talent than Jefferies. However, I think we have enough guys on the team with questionable attitudes, and Jefferies has shown more of a willingness to be a defensive presence, which we really need. The only good thing about the Miles trade is that we would be swapping players as opposed to adding another player to an already crowded roster. That would be the only reason I might take Miles over Jefferies.

I'd trade Miles for Francis in a second. I don't know about Miles for Qrich. Qrich is really the only true SG on the roster. I'm willing to believe he can bounce back to his former level of play.

I'd trade Francis for a bag of golf balls.

Point taken, brother. Was just trying to come up with some more brain dead players with whom
we could round out our roster.

Magluire Deal

I think the Knicks would still pull trigger if Steve Blake wasn't included in the deal.

Q is anti Marbury.

Anything that reeks of Layden or Brown must go.

Jackie blue, QDog, and Qrich. Qrich stood up to Marbury.

The Isiah-Steph love thing is a beautiful thing and with Q in the way to keep it real it just won't work!

QRich is gonE!

Dairy-Ass fits the misunderstood-overpaid-need father figure-Unerachieve role that Isiah so cherishs.

Whats up with Jeffries? Guess we'll know monday. He has known Isiah since he was 12! WOW!

Based on you logic, wouldn't QWoods also be anti QRich based on his past?

Based on that logic we shouldn't be getting Jeffries and trading Crawford for miles......

If Washington matches, I think the Knicks will likely do this deal as a backup deal. DMiles is clearly more talented than Jefferies, but he needs shots to be happy, doesn't always play D and has had some serious injury issues the last year or two. I'm not sure, but I think I'd actually prefer keeping QRich and Jefferies and finding a way to send Francis on a deep-sea diving expedition during a great white shark feeding frenzy.

If Q is a shooting guard, Nate is a great point guard.........

I never said he was a great SG, but he can defend the position. In fact, if I was coaching the team, QRich would be my starting SG and Nate would be his backup, with Craw and Marbury at the point.

I didn't say you said Q was great but that's how poorly I feel about Q being a starting 2guard. I won't even keep him on the team because he is too poor a shooter and too short to be the 3. He is good to have if you have JoeJohnson and Nash to sandwich him inbetween............. we don't have have a player that is bigger then Q, shoots better then Q and Handles better then Q. That is Joe Johnson, we don't have a JJ.

im sorry but 2g who shoot 37% dont cut the grade

Briggs- I don't mind getting rid of Q- but couple things- he is our only true 2g; he was our best perimeter defender last year; and he was one of the few knicks last year that cared and wanted to win.

If you are trading Q, something has to come back that shores up the hole that would be here without him.

All the people saying trade Q because he couldn't hit the side of a barn, remind me of all the people who wanted KT out of here.

Granted, Q wasn't great, but he is better than what we have to step in?

If we trade Q for Miles, whether you like Miles or not he fills a need at the 3 if we don;t get Jeffries.

Sure Q is our only true 2g, but compared to the other true 2g's around the league he rates towards the bottom.

Enough with the q being our best perimeter defender and him being our only true shooting guard.

Last year Q-rich was the worst shooting guard in the league. Now I personally love the guy and was hoping he would florish in ny but the guy was terrible last year on both sides of the ball. He played kobe well for a sequence so he is now a good defender? Get off it already. Half the time he had no clue where his man was. Q-rich was one of the main guys leaving his man for wide open threes.

He was the only person that cared about winning? He wasn't healthy cuz the dude showed up to camp out of shape. How did he want to win more than anyone else? No freakin way.

Like I said I love Q and think he has the potential to be a stud if he was healthy and given the opportunity.

Right now trading miles for Q-rich is a major steal. The dude has skills and physical gifts that the knicks need. Q is the one that has nothing to give the knicks. Again if isiah can get miles for Q-rich then yes that is a major steal!

I cant see paying a guy 7-8mm a year to play 2G and he really cant even shoot the darn ball. He's not very fast, he's got a bad back. We have Jamal Crawford Steve Francis Marbury Nate and balkman if we need some D--why do we need Q? Hes a 4 in a 6-5 body who likes to take 10 3s he's not an effecient player. I'd take an ending contract or swap him in a S+T to wash for jefferies, but my bet is unwanted contract for unwanted contract. So give me the best player available--that is probably darius.

Our whole roster is flawed like that- we have a pg that isn't a leader, a center who can't stay on the court, a back up c that wouldn't be good enough to make a JV squad.

I was there when we got Q with the criticism of his shot.

I have more faith that Q can bounce back and shoot half way decent.

Miles is just the kind of player we have too many of- talented, but a rap for being a malcontent looser.

Q last year towards the end of the season exhibited, I thought, the kind of gritty determination that players like Oak and Mason had- not the most talented guys, but they had the will to win. I see that potentially with Q.

I don't want to trade him for someone who might have more talent, but less 'heart'.
