You could say the same about Marbury, Francis, and Jamal, though!

Jamal at least shows signs, particularly at the end of the season. Marbury can guard the big guards though, like the JRich's of the world and such, at least in the half court. Nate Robinson has the tools to guard any point guard. He's just gotto learn the little tricks of the trade and how to move off the ball and all that jazz. He's gonna be a touch customer and nowhere near a pushover.

PG - Marbs
SG - Craw
SF - Jeffries
PF - Lee
C - Frye

Backup Guard - Nate
Backup Forward - Q
Backup Center - Curry
Energy Player - Balkman

B-Team
PG - Francis
SG - Collins
SF - Rose
PF - Rose
C - JJ

Who cares? Taylor

Until Curry shows that he can play more than 10 minutes effectively, I don't know how he sees himself as a starter. I like the way Lee plays with Marbs and Frye. His outside shot looks better. Now he just needs to work on his percentage from the stripe.

Are we really obligated to play Francis? There are guys like Mo that are well paid and can even play well, but they won't see the floor. Are the rules different for Franchise? He was terrible last year.

I'd love to see Balkman and Nate come off the bench as the shock troops, subbing in for Marbs and Lee or Jeffries. Curry can come in when we are forced to run half court.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Forget about benching Curry. He's a shoe in whether anyone likes it or not.

First thing's first, Francis gets caught with a hooker, cocaine and stolen money from Vegas, all in the trunk of his car so that leaves this. The rest of the team. Unfortunately, I have a feeling we are going to be seeing more of the same of last year, in terms of starting lineups, b/c Isiah said himself that minutes go to the people that are playing better and earned them. And since every player is so damn inconsistent, or was at least last year, guess what.

So I'll go with a starting lineup with guys that can shoot, rebound, play a little D, can run a little, but not really great at anything.

Marbury
Crawford
Quentin
Lee
Curry

Q established himself as a solid defender last season, when healthy, and is also a good rebounder. He can also shoot that 3 so that, along with Marbury and Crawfords scoring, can spread things out nicely. Lee also helps out on the boards and can score nice garbage points. Wont have bloated role here, so he'll succeed even more.

Of course, this is also assuming that Crawford can build off of how well he did at the end of last season and doesn't get "Confused" by whatever role he might hold.

Coming off the bench, you got Frye as the first big man as well as Jefferies, so that provides both instant offense and defense. Rose can come off the bench to score and Nate can be the spark. The rebounding will suffer severely if you use all those guys at once. D Lee would probably have to stay in.

I think Quentin is going to have a larger role than we think this coming season, if he stays healthy.

Excuse me for the confusing 2:30 am post, but I still love the starting lineup I stated.
