So Isiah and Brown agreed on two of the J. Rose high salary veterans and this is stunning to some people?

Q-Rich: Disagreed
Malik: Disagreed
James: Agreed
Taylor: Agreed
Marbury: Disagreed
Francis: Disagreed
J Rose: Disagreed

Wow! Flip a coin and on average you'll agree 3.5 out of 7 times!

The way Isiah separated himself so quickly from the Jalen and Francis trades saying they were Brown's doing, wouldn't it make sense that he would want to trade them, too?

Trade is very different from waive. They're completely different directions to take the organization in. I would NOT waive someone as good as Francis. I'd wait until a desperate team gives up something decent for him or keep him and find a role for him. I'm neutral on Jalen.

Very true...but my point still stands over the fact that Isiah isn't "actively shopping" these guys as heavily as these other guys.

We heard Francis for Gooden rumors but we really don't know who he's shopping or when he plans to shop them. He may think he can elevate Francis's trade value if he plays decently and he may think he can get more for Jalen's exp. contract by the trade deadline.

kinda funny isnt it? All these suckos that Larry wanted gone are on the block. Meanwhile back at the ranch Isiah offers the full MLE, drafts a defensive hustle player and a defense/pass first PG.

Maybe last year wasnt a waste after all... Larry showed Isiah that he needs to guys that play the right way

When Larry's the coach and wants more defensive type players Isiah tells him the roster is good enough as it is. When Isiah's the coach the first thing he does is acquire as many defensive type players as he can. Funny how that works.

Was Isiah supposed to make it all happen during last season? Was Isiah not going to add defensive players if Brown stayed? Why would that be? To spite LB? What good would that do Isiah? Was Isiah against adding defensive players or was he against trading his starting PG, Center, and at least one of his rookies from a poor bargaining position created by the one and only LB?

This whole: "Lary wanted this type of player, and Isiah is only now getting them because LB is gone" point of view is ridiculous. If anything, it proves what an impatient ass LB is.

I'm beginning to come around to the "IT is stealing LB's ideas" point of view Anji. LB, Isiah, and myself go to the same barber, and my barber told me in March that LB said he would like to add LeBron James, then last week Isiah said he would like to find a way to get LeBron James!

Coincidence? I think not!

This is a girls conversation. Is their a Larry brown fansite or is Larry getting some special treatment from you guys?

Damn Larry is a good coach buy he definately didn't bring it to ny. Get over it already. Now isiah is stealing larrys ideas? Isiah has always been talking defense, and structure. That's why he hired brown. Well it didn't happen, brown is gone...yada yada yada...life goes on.

THe Irony is just amusing.

IM suprised Isiah is allowed to add to payroll.

Looks like we could have used Shandon the last two years. Overpaid role player who plays good defense!

This is not about Isiah, not about larry. Its just about being stupid and short sighted with a touch of finacial ineptness.
