what team is the most dangerous coming into this season?

Top 2 surprises-

#1-Toronto by far. Built a great team. Great trades. The only thing they really needed was a point got one of the better ones out there. PJ Tucker will be an absolute STEAL!
TJ-MO-Graham-Bosh-Rasho(if they can add a role playing defensive center on the same level as Rasho they are gonna bring some serious heat). Their bench is gonna be sick!

#2-Orlando-Jameer and Reddick are super compliments to Howard. Battie next to him is great because he is a defender and Howard can save himself a bit on that end.

I like chicago, I think adding ben wallace(although declining) still makes them tougher inside, they are a year older and a year wiser.. I am not sure about toronto, I am confused somewhat on why they got rid of CV and why the bucks were so willing to move TJ ford after the year they had.. I like the bucks to do well and I think the knicks have the mix of youth, vets and athleticism along with talent to compete..

Suns... if they get Amare and Kurt back at 75% they will have a nasty defense, better than Chicago. Marion, Amare, KT, Raja Bell, Marcus Banks and Diaw are all top notch defenders. Then they have the MVP PG to find EVERYONE easy shots and orchestrate a team, 5-man offense.

Only thing I see keeping them from 65 wins is major injuries, mainly to Nash.

I think for the teams we mentioned they all have a certain way they want to play. tj ford in Toronto is genius. Giving up on Charlie v is hard to swallow but a guy like bosh needs tj and vice versa. That is going to be a big trade if everyone stays healthy.

Charlie means more to bogut and redd than tj. The bucks don't need the point guard to distribute. They need a point guard that can score and hit the three with consistancy. Maurice Williams is a bad dude if he can stay healthy. Charlie v can do it all. He can post up if they need him to, he can create shots for others and he can hit the 3. His skills complement everyone on the court. Bogut and Charlie won't butt heads either. Both teams are on their way.

Exactly. I'm with my knicks. I believe in us!! I'm even more excied this year than last. They have something to prove and someone to prove wrong. Id put a picture of larry and a quote on everyones locker where he has complained about the roster. Make them believe in each other.

They can look forward to us now, but they won't be as the season goes on and this team starts to jell. We never really got a chance to see that last year with all the crap LB pulled with the roster. It really can't be overstated how hard it is for a team full of new and young players to get it together if the lineups keep changing, the plays keep changing and the Coach treats them like step children. This year none of that will be happening. We'll also have a different approach to the game. We'll be looking to make teams play at OUR PACE and we'll be the AGGRESSOR. That being on constant attack will catch quite a few teams back on their heels and we'll be more confident as a team and far more successful than last year.

The East in general is on the rise with some really good young teams and its gonna be interesting to see how it all shakes out. To see where we stand in this new wave of up and coming teams.

We've been saying this two years in a row- the knicks are favored in the weak atlantic.

Fool me once, shame on you- fool me twice, shame on me.

I would love for the knicks to make the play offs and play as well as I'd expect this team given the talent on the roster.

However, I am a realist and I'd be happy with a win total in the 30's.

That to me doesn't qualify as dangerous.

Dangerous is a team that can basically win any night out and does more often than not (i.e., above 500).

Bulls are there. Orlando might surprise and atlanta as well.

Unfortunately, I don't see our knicks there- and I am sure Isiah will be gone either at the end of the season or before.

I think by dangerous team people mean a team that if things go as can be reasonably expected based on the moves that they've made up to this point, they can be pretty good and possibly compete for a top seed in their conference.

If you use the definition of any team that has absolutely everything go their way and maximizes their talent completely then any team can claim to be the most dangerous.

but seriously D12 and Darko will be a NIGHTMARE match-up for most frontlines in the league. If Hill can come back for 20-25 a night and JJ can put the ball in the hole like he did at Duke, they are gonna beat a lot of people.
