Pistons are fically ok and gong to to the finals 2 years and the conf. finals is a huge profit booster! Team is successful and making money!

GMs screw up all the time in retrospect.

Isiah gets heat for losing Butler, but got props to get him firt of all.

If Jerome is an animal this year, Isiah looks good again!

Ebbs and flows!

Knicks have been a disaster under Isiah. He is getting more time! Even Dolan knows that!

Yes, we want to see him succeed!

I don't think you can knock Dumars for most of those things and his team won a championship.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

losing a top ten nba talent in grant grant hill only to rebound and win a championship 4 years later is nothing short of pure genius

.......btw, the synonym for class act is joe dumars

If Isiah won a championship here, he could **** up for a long time and not catch much heat. NY treats its champions very well. How long did we pay Mark Messier for that Stanley Cup?

Dumars didn't have the big contracts and untradeable players Isiah got when he came in.
if thats a bad thing why did Isiah go ahead and add a bunch more? Dumars didnt add any. I wonder why

How else is he supposed to meet Dolan's/Cablevision's mandate of making the playoffs within 4 months from when he took over?

People seems to forget sometimes that IT is not the boss. Dolan is. dola decides whether or not we should blow the thing up, rebuild and start from scratch.

I remember IT saying that we were rebuilding and then Dolan interrupting him and say "no, we're making the playoffs".
Dolan sucks so much he wants to have the guys he hired make him shine with big "coups", but those are not the way to build a good team. Long term plan is, but DOlan can't see farther than his nose. And since his nose is right down in his ass...

It's amazing how many people can't see the forest for the trees. I can picture them blaming each of the next fifty GMs without realizing that the problem is that no GM will succeed under Cablevision ownership.

Who does not realize Dolan is the ultimate culprit? Everybody does. However one can hope that a GM can do better than IT has done with virtually unlimited resources as far as spending is concerned.

But, hey, Dumars is worse than IT, he doesnt have as many young talent on his team! (Sarcasm for those to dumb to undersand.)
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
