I read somewhere that Carmelo and Francis (both from B-More) had a big falling-out recently. In fact, I heard they can't stand each other.

If this is true, I can't see Carmelo (the face of the Nuggets) endorsing a trade to bring Francis to his team.

I can see the 3 year free agency fantasy of having cap room will be gone soon enough.

I see it this way. Isiah has to raise the value of his players. Franicis returns to his former glory and gets moved to a contender for an expiring contract by the trade deadline.

WE need to be the ones dumping.

Denver will give JR smith every opportunity to be the shooting forward. Francis and Carmelo have bad blood between them.

Questions remain about NENE? Is he and the Nuggs ready for prime time and the only thing holding them back is Stevie?

IS Dolan really gonna take back more salary? Again?

then it's franchise for kmart and a pick.

that's rough...I'd rather wait out the next three years when EVERYONE is a free agent/expires.

Let's go after Reggie Evans instead of Kmart.

that's fine with me if you can get him for the MLE... he'd be a nice fit on this team imo.

If k-mart is healthy then the knicks should get him. K-mart had the surgery and was back playing way too soon. Same with amare. I don't know if he is healthy, still when k-mart did play he was aggressive. Its not like he couldn't jump anymore. The guy was still skying on a supposed bum knee.

Nobody mentioned the knicks new offense. K-mart would be very special in the offense isiah is going to run. Lots of chest pounding and rim rockin. K-mart is a good passer and can guy guys with the lob just as good as anyone.

What about frye? Curry? What about them? If they earn the time they will play. In an up tempo scheme they will definately get off the bench...if they deserve to.

I would not trade Francis either. Isiah has the leverage. Jj and q-rich sounds good to me. Maybe even Taylor or jalen. Doesn't matter. Isiah has usually gotten the upper hand in trades so I don't expect anything less.

An up tempo line up with a healthy k-mart would be lethal.

maybe there is a three way deal- Iverson? - given that Francis and Melo might not be on speaking terms.

If we are saving Denver money, then picks must come our way- and I am happy to take a chance on Martin returning to form- doubtful though because its not merely the surgery that he has been recovering from but I believe arthritis or tendinitis in the knee.

in this new era of fiscal responsibility, I'd offer him 4yrs $15M

He can get alot more than that from alot of other teams. It's either we offer the MLE or we pass on him in all likelihood.

I'd rather use the money on Q Woods and give the PF/C minutes to Frye and Lee (and Curry if he's in shape).
