idiotic? I'm not so sure it's of that proportion.

If you knew what was proportionally idiotic, my guess is you wouldn't post half of what you do.

LOL! VDes, you need to come around more often.

Hmm I see the split in the board. We should make an ultimateknicks clan, like they do on those online games. LOL.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

it's only a temporary split. VDesai switches back and forth with the wind. come to think of it, so do you Solace.

I do? I think Bonn would beg to differ. We may have agreed once or twice, but it was purely accidental.

The more I think about it, the more I think Isiah should have kept Jackie. He played hard, he pulled down boards, he was good on the fast break. If Isiah matched the offer they would have had a very young backup center for much less than what their paying Jerome. Isiah has got to stop compounding his mistakes.

I think we are going with a 3 big rotation at the 4 and 5 like Denver.
sucks to lose jackie.

IF it means we keep qwoods or another upgrade over Jackie, then you would have to say it was a good move.

than it's not idiotic. It's more maybe isiah knows more about butler and his offense than vdesie does.

Who are the three? Curry, Frye and ...?

I think it's going to be lee. I know it sounds crazy, but i really think Lee is going to be part of the 3 big rotation. Zeke talks to his coach a bunch and his coach played him at the 5.

I'm thinking the 4 is more his speed.

moT is a fat, overpaid poorman's frye
and Jerome is a skinnier, overpaid poorman's curry.

But the three bigs are curry, frye and lee.

you could even sprinkle a little MRose into the bunch.

But when it comes to guarding shaq, I'd rather have big snacks.

I will say that if this money frees up the cash to offer Jared Jeffries the full MLE, I am fine with it.

A front court rotation (counting SF) of: Curry, Frye, Lee, Jeffries, Balkman and Qrich is a young, tough, offensively diverse group.

I don't go back and forth at all. I just don't see things in black and white.

Sure. I just wish waiving MoT would've been an option, and then we could've had both.

Hey man it's a good sign the Knick might have somehow become fiscally responsible. Paying double for Jackie would not be prudent.

Dolan has tightened the purse strings - with good reason.

sorry, I like Jackie and I dislike losing him with slugs like Jerome James and Mo Taylor here, but I like Jared Jeffries a whole lot more.

Exactly. Butler only gets spot-duty here, Jeffries would start at Sf.....and could play some 4 if needed....
