Here are James Singleton's best numbers from each of his 5 SL games

23 points 17 rebounds 5 assists 3 blocks

http://www.vegassummerleague.com/players_info.cfm?player=364&season=3&team=24

if you can find me another player in any of the leagues, using all of their individual game highs, you wont find a line like this. hes got superstar potential. I know its hard to understand, but this kid is as good, or better than bynum.
all kool aid all the time.

In Singletons' first two games in the season, he averaged 13.5 points and 11 .5 rebounds....then his minutes got cut. Any time he got playing time, he PT he put up some moster ebounding games...He had 5 double digit rebound games last season plus another 4 of seven or higher.

By comparison, our starting center, playing with weak rebounders had 10 double digit rebounding games, 16 games of seven or higher-His season average was 6, Singleton's season average-playing with 2 10+ rebounders in not nearly the minutes was 3.5.

Curry sucks but the thread somehow got misdirected toward him (probably because I mentioned him in passing).

Bro, me using Curry as an example was not a result of one word you said in this thread. RV said this sarcastically:

I was pointing out that this kid that RV put down is not that much further down the ladder han our starting center. It's not because of you bro, sorry to disappoint.

Maybe we need to look very closely at Butler, to see if he is really worth keeping first. What's the upside and downside of Butler?

I know he showed flashes of greatness in some of the games last year, but what is his true gifts? The guy is 22 years of age. He's averaged 12 minutes a game, 5 ppg, 3 rpg and 1/2 block shot a game. On the down side, if you can call it a down side, he's averaging just over two fouls a game and just over 1 turnover a game. Now' if you double his minutes:
24 minutes a game
10 points per game
6 to 7 rebounds a game
1 block shot a game
just over 4 fouls a game
and just over two turnovers a game

That to me sounds like a good back up center. I wonder what he could develop into, if he had full-time minutes, if not all of the time, then some of the time.

What do you guys think?
I'll never trust this' team again.

with Curry and Frye injury-prone type players, the Knicks better think long and hard about keeping Jackie B. If not Jackie B, I'd give Eric Williams a two year contract for the rookie FA minimum. You need a power player who can finish and rebound in the wings

Frye injury prone? The only injury he had all of last year was when a little gaurd ran into his knee at 1000 miles an hour! Before that, he was healthy for 100% of the games.

I wouldn't call him "injury prone" and with his leg last year it wasn't his fault, but with the knee at rookie practice then rolling the ankle and not finishing SL, I have to admit, I thought at the time: "I hope this doesn't become a habit".

Yeah, I could understand that and there's still not one good reason to let the Spurs steal Jackie.

In the big picture I can't argue that-unless Zeke has another move planned...
