Oh baby! This dude was hyped like lebron! I always said he wasn't that good when I was in high school. We used to almost come to blows over this guy. Dude was never on an elite level.

Yeah, he broke us Johnnie's fans hearts but Ron Artest made up for him.

A guy I used to back was Charles Jones. The dude from soul in the hole that led the NCAA in scoring a couple times, playing for Liu. I just knew he was gonna blow up. i saw him play live too. He was like Jordan. Dude couldn't even get drafted I think.

Charles Jones showed up against a team I played on in the playoffs as a ringer in a street tournament I played in back in the day (Teenage years.) all of a sudden this 6'2" inch kid with extremely long arms is playing, my team was like WTF!?

Needless to say we lost.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Am I allowed to say Stephon Marbury?

John Wallace and Bo Kimble come to mind

Isiah "don't call me Jr" rider. Weed was More important to him than his career. The NBA tries hard not to show footage of him on all-star weekend. Rider was the first NBA player to go between the legs and dunk.

I thought JR was the first to go between the legs to....until I saw footage of the '84 slam dunk contest. Orlando Woolrige put it between is legs and dunked.

Get the hell out. I gotta see that. That should be something the NBA should have been promoting at their events. I tell you man the NBA is bias. They have a product and they are very carefull how they want it to be run.

I really liked Frank Williams out of college and also really liked Sweetney. Sweets should still be a good player though.

I thought Jacque Vaughn was undervalued, but it turns out he's been correctly valued. I also though Will Avery and Erick Barkley would at least have NBA careers. Prior to this draft I thought Marcus Williams was a top 5 player. We'll see what he becomes. PG is one of the toughest positions to call IMO.

Before there was sam bowie, there was Larue Martin. 1972 no.1 overall pick.

Otis Birdsong
Albert King
Steve Francis
Wayne McCoy (as a freshman at St. Johns)
J.R. Reid (also as a freshman)
Tickey Burdan (just for old times sake!)
Ray Williams
Sugar Ray Richardson (White lines)

Wow, Albert King is a good one. I recall reading that he was rated ahead of Magic Johnson when they were coming out of high school. Him and Buck Williams were pretty good at Maryland.

Yeah, the cuse is a winning program, that puts out alot of NBA busts. It has to be something this coach is doing, because these guys are clearly talented, but they all seem to lack the drive.

Dajuan Wagner
Felipe Lopez (I went to Rice with him)
Danny Manning
Jamal Mashburn
Stacy Augmon
Coriliss Williamson
Jimmy Jackson (was my favorite player in college at the time). He was such a complete player.

Dajuan Wagner and Felipe Lopez are two i can remember.

I also thought Eddie Griffin and Desmond Mason could turn out to be all stars.

I wouldn't call Marbury or Steve Francis busts. They both have been all stars, but they never fulfilled their full potential.

Dejaun is a good one. But manning, Mash, Aug, corliss and JJ all had quite respectable careers. Certainly not a bust.

Might add Stanley Roberts to the list. he was rated ahead of shaq at one time at LSU.

Omar Cook was a bust.
