If Zeke could only remove one player off this roster and cost was not an issue, who would you drop??

Francis by a long shot, he makes Marbs look like a superstar and has no place on this team to fit in.

At least James has size, he can just stand there and be a small factor.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Cmon...Malik Rose is the no-brainer. He is by far the least talented player on the team. I would categorize the team like this:

CUT LIST:
Malik Rose
Jerome James
Mo Taylor
Jalen Rose
QRICH

TOP KEEPERS:
Frye
Lee
Crawford
QWoods
Butler
Nate

INDIFFERENT (Need more information:
Marbury
Francis
Curry
Balkman
Collins

Note: If the team decided to get rid of both Marbury and Francis, I would be alright with that. Cap wise it makes no difference if we cut one or the other.

collecting 5 fouls in 5 minutes is not helping the team in any way, shape or form... collecting that obscene $30 million dollar salary is the most disgusting thing imaginable for a waste of space like Big Turd... even w/my strong distaste for Starbury & everything he represents, at least he'll give you some productive minutes on the floor... same goes for Francis once he's given a role on this team... coming into the situation he came into last year, i don't think anyone should've been surprised that he didn't produce.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

There are people who will defend every player...except nobody really defends Malik... I mean... "15th man and a leader in the locker room"... that is why you have coaches, and they don't take up roster spots. We need leaders on the floor even more. I cringe every time I see Malik play... the number and quantity of minutes he got last season was convincing to me that LB was tanking games. I don't want him on this team. He does not nearly bring the tenacity he was supposed to...remember JYD saying "the Junk Yard dog and the Pit Bull...", Rose has not shown any real moxie. He flat out stinks.

I'd go with EwingsGlass list for the most part.

No one has mentioned Curry as a candidate. I could see him as someone I would want to cut.

If James would have been just a little productive behind Curry. We would have won 10 games more just off that easily.

5pts, 5rebs 1.5blks in 20mins would have been huge.

I would say James. Franchise would be close, but Isiah does have a very very slim chance to actually make him look good and get value. While with James there is no chance.

Nate Robinson, I find him to be truely a useless pick.

nates got more heart than half the team. If Nate can harness and hone his skills on a consistent basis, hes one heckuva bench player who can ignite energy. This is a guy who has won games for NY scored 20+ points several times--he has a lot of talent. He just needs to mature in mind/game.

Well, so far I would agree that ability-wise his only value has been in the novelty aspect, but I think he has superb athletic ability and that 'moxie' that I want our players to have. I want them to strut their stuff, for better or worse. But even if he is 'useless', there are players far worse on this roster. At least he has heart... he plays everyday like he has something to prove... he has a lot to learn, but you can still teach a young dog new tricks...

Heart? Aren't you jumping all over Isiah for picking a player who plays his heart out (Balkman). There are a lot of player that play with heart. I would rather have a 6'6'' sg rather than a 5'7'' sg that plays with heart. Nate is getting a chance to play just for the novelty aspect. A side show. I personally think there is no place for Nate on the Knicks.

Cut Balkman, sign Udoka to a three year extension. Go Knicks!
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
