do you guys have the memory of goldfish? Or is it convinient amnesia?

no one remembers Isiah asking brown if he should step in and Brown saying no, its an oppurtunity to coach him?

Blue,

Billups and the pistons were a 50 win team before Brwon, and they were winning with him. Its easy to overlook alot of things when you are winning.

The significance of that statement is lost on me. If anything I'd think Steph's image of a loser, with a record to back it up, would make him all the more willing to follow and support someone who's won at every stop of his career. Instead Steph seems high on life now for demonstrating that he, as an immovable object, can defeat an irresistible force.

zeke hires a hall of fame coach with a resume of winning, i said winning not to be confused with whinning, just so he can undermine you know who when the feuding solving gets complicated......

please....stop the hating bra

Bra...this is the title of the actual article..."Isiah let feud boil Puts Steph mess on Brown"...My title is "Isiah let Brown-Marbury feud happen". Which sounds like a more negative title? I am not hating, as to all I said was "keeps getting better and better..." How does this constitute hating? That I posted the article, now I'm hating? Should we just ignore articles that pop up on this?

Do me a favor and read the article...don't bother assuming my opinion-I did not give one IOTA of an opinion. I have posted anti-Brown artcles, as well as anti-Isiah articles, as well as anti-Marbury articles...as well as pro articles for all 3.

Other than that, I have constantly said I believe absolutely nothing that comes out of either camp. The fact that these stories are STILL coming out is ridiculous. Almost everyone should be taking everything said now as half truths. If this is the truth, Isiah messed up. Pat Croche was the perfect owner and GM for Brown to work under. He realized Brown worked for him and when he wanted to trade Iverson, he sat them both down and said "Shut up and make it work, neither of you are going anywhere".

But Blue, he averages 20 and 8. How can you overlook that?!!?!?

I hate the Pistons example, because the spin is just ridiculous. The Pistons were a good team, Larry comes in and helps them to the next level. How does he not deserve some credit for that?

Does the CEO of a successful corporation not (justly) get credit for continued growth? I don't get the arguments, except that people hate Larry Brown. He was awful here, but he still had more credibility than the rest of our organization combined.

As for Steph, I hope he just plays basketball and stops doing interviews.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Anyone inform Billups that Brown wanted to trade his a** before all the champagne bottles were empty after winning MVP of the finals......

Maybe he doesn't care becuase he's not a primadona like someone else.

yeah, because only primadonnas would care about that.

I don't read this and think, "Isaiah let fuel boil". It comea across to me that he let his coach determine the type of relationship he (the coach) has with his players. This article was wtitten by Frank Isola but it could have been written by Marc Berman. These guys are bottom feeders when it comes to getting real news.

Very good point. You really can't blame anyone else, really, except Marbury. Dolan let Zeke make the moves, Zeke acted as GM and Brown acted as Coach. Marbury is the one who did not act like a leader on the floor. He went against the grain, in publicly fighting with Brown. Marbury is the one who disruppted this team. Brown's motives are whatever they were, and should not have been questioned to begin with. I still to this day blame Marbury for bringing the moral down on this team. You can't argue with someone's position. That's the way business is supposed to go. When one jumps out of line, they get fired. Unfortunately, we couldn't fire Marbury, because he made more, so Dolan felt he needed to make someone an example, so Brown was out. We'll see just how well Marbury follows Zeke's instructions this year. There will be blow ups if things don't start out right and if things go up and down and you will see who the real distraction is on this team. It will be starbury.

Bro, if you think that is sensationalizing, you really don't read the newspaper or watch the news on TV much, do you?
