Let's get it straight and then we'll move on.

Dude, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm just tired of having to talk about Brown in every single thread, no matter how much I am against his firing. I was referring to Anji and others who find every reason to dump on Brown in every thread, just becuase so and so said something, it gets tiring.

Frye is going to be a star in this league very soon. I don't think 17ppg 7rpg and 1.5bpg are out of the question this year.

I've heard from a reliable source that he's added a lot of muscle this off-season (not a fat joke). I think Curry will be solid, though I do have more faith in Frye.

That may be the most positive development the Knicks have had in months, possibly since Frye earned rookie of the month honors in November. A power forward with a sweet shooting stroke, Frye averaged 14.2 points and 6.1 rebounds in his first month as a pro. But, like most of the Knicks, Frye never got the benefit of a consistent role in Coach Larry Brown's ever-changing rotation.

It was a frustrating experience for Frye, although he was careful not to say so during the season. Then his season came to a premature and painful end, right around the time everything else was going wrong with the Knicks.

"That's just a bad dream, what happened last year," Frye said. He was referring to the injury, but that more or less summarized the entire season. Given Frye's strong start, and the Knicks' stated commitment to rebuilding with youth, Frye was expected to play a major role the rest of the season.

But Brown used an N.B.A.-record 42 lineups and Frye's minutes fluctuated wildly. In a rare moment of candor, Frye told reporters earlier this week that the inconsistency hurt him, and the team.

"If I told you to do something different every day at the newspaper or the TV station, how would it work out?" he said. "But that was his coaching style and he made the decisions he made, and our record showed it. This year, hopefully, with a little more consistency that Isiah brings and the attitude that we're going to bring, I think we'll be all right."

As angry as team officials are with Brown, they were not pleased to see Frye, Robinson and David Lee — last year's rookies — criticize their former coach. Frye sounded chastened as he revisited those comments Friday.

"He made the decisions that he made," Frye said of Brown. "I'm not mad at him. It was a character-building situation."

Frye later added: "I think Larry is one of the greatest coaches around. I just felt like last year we just had a lot of things that didn't go right. I think I'm basically just trying to move on."

Larry Brown is mention throughout this artcle. I can't believe you guys missed it so many times. I brought Brown into the discussion because his name was mention in the article.

This is just another let me take a dump on Brown because he is an enemy of my god lord IT thread by Killa. Guess who will be laughing next season when we suck and Brown eventually sings with another team to make even more money, and has them competing for the title. But its ok, cause IT only gets falck cause he is black and we are all racists.

NOBODY!!!Brown's performance turned me against him, not anything anyone else said, but what I saw with my own 2 eyes was what did it for me. I never claimed that Isiah only gets flack because he's black. Show me where I ever said that? This really does boil down to inteligence, or at the very least the ability to grasp the finer points in a debate.

It's becoming more and more clear that its better to just keep your mouth shut and not say anything and I don't like that, I don't like having to tip-toe around things. I had no harmful intentions with any of my posts and I'm sorry if you found them that way.
