MS and I actually agree! (Uh oh!) No move Isiah has made is remotely close in long-term damage to the Curry trade. It's the only one that cost us two potential all-stars or superstars and some good role players with 2nd rd picks. What other trades did we potentially lose two superstars in?

i loved the trade when it happened, but looking back i think the Marbury trade really hurt this franchise tremendously... personally i thought hiring LB was 1 of the few moves Isiah made that really was a no brainer from the get go... he just made the move at the wrong time w/a team built around the wrong player.

Worst moves in order:

1) Eddy Curry trade
2) Stephon Marbury trade
3) Steve Francis trade (trade for a player we'll be forced to trade!)
4) Van Horn, Doleac for Tim Thomas, Nazr trade (only redeeming factor is it led to David Lee)
5) Larry Brown signing (one year and done, unlike the typical Isiah move)
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Marbury, but the problem with that is 'Marbury was here first'!
I'll never trust this' team again.

Larry - cuz I believe that Isiah was on the verge of starting to build a nice young team around Steph and these players will be the future of our team for a good while. Steph may not be the greatest winner but he can play if allowed to do his thing, he can help us win. More important tho is the continued development of your young players and on that note Larry hurt the team. At least Steph tries to win games. I'm not sure that Larry was always doing that last year.

Imagining building 'anything' around starbury is hard to believe. Maybe we should make starbury into a 'player-coach', if starbury is successful at getting rid of Zeke also!
I'll never trust this' team again.

I really can't wait for next season. It's going to be so fun to just watch basketball again. I'm glad you've finally seen Larry for what he is.

Isiah's Top 5 Worst Moves as President of the Knicks:

5) The moves he made on Anucha
4) Steve Francis (absolutely no point to it but lots of money taken back)
3) Larry Brown (but it wasn't hiring him that was the problem, the problem was not letting him do what he was hired to do.)
2) Stephon Marbury (We gave up 2 potential lottery picks if we had just gutted the team but worst of all it set us on this course of complete futility by making this loser our franchise player)
1) Eddy Curry (This trade will be looked at as the NBA version of the Herschel Walker trade.)
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System
