No use in doing that. I guarantee Eny will be back. Guys who announce their departure on message boards ALWAYS come back in my experience. Things will blow over and ultimately they can't stay away. It's the guys who silently leave that never return.

I am clear that he will return, I just want to know what the controversy was all about. FYI, he did leave unannounced.

But I tried to leave and was successful for about 3 days I think. It will be a little easier to take some time off now, while things aren't happening, but if the summer league picks up, how can you not comment on that?

I'm just sure that both would rather leave that private. When he does come back I'm sure he'd rather not have all of us knowing that stuff.

I am really sorry to hear this Eny. You are one of the posters that I respect the most on this forum. It is ashame. My advice is take a couple of days and let it cool down.

Not to take a shot at Martin or Andrew, but depending on your stance with certain players and certain members of the organization, you seem to be on a tighter rope than others. I remember Eny's post about the sneakers. He did use some harsh words to describe the fact that people will start to make that thread about what they think of Marbury as a basketball player. Nothing too out there. I seen worst on this forum, where on a routine basis I or some other poster get accuse of performing sexual acts on Thomas. I don't even respond to those anymore, I just wait to see how the Mods respond. I am no longer surprise to see the same poster just posting more and more venom days later. I take the word of Martin that he and Andrew don't have time to read through all the posts but lately it seems to be selective reading that's all. I am sure that I will take a hit for this post but I felt the need to say it. I still believe this is one of the best Knick forums on the net.

ENY, You will be back. I don't always agree with how the board is moderated, but I am hooked, and you are too. I don't think Martin and Andrew always mod the board in an objective manner. BRIGGS can say anything and get away with it. Attack posters, whatever. Bonn gets bashed by mods which I think is inappropriate. Threads get locked over heated exchanges which is correct. Nalod makes one of the most ignorant racist remarks I've ever heard and nothing happens at all. No mod steps in, no threads locked, no posters banned, nothing. So yeah, I understand your frustrations, I''d like to see some changes, and some sembelence of fairness to all posters, but in the meantime, its hard to stay away. I love these boards, this is the best [edit:]Knicks site on the net.

I thought you and some of the other posters dealt pretty effectively with Nalod's remarks. In that case, there wasn't a need for the mods; you guys handled it.

But it appears Nalod has also been absent for a few days, so who knows.
