But how can you judge him on one year by saying what you said?

answer: the same way he came to new york, did not want to be the peacemaker when the going got tough, put himself on some kind of hollywood square while letting the whole bball world know his shyte dont stink but this club does. yep, imo he did that in one year

if this was phil jackson or pat riley they get the same treatment......except those great coaches would've never handed their fans a *tanked season

* tanked season: greeny's opinion on larry brown, espn, mike & mike in the morning

Yeah, I listened to that episode of Mike and Mike-I've been a listener for about a year and a half(and I have actually referenced this exact episode in a thread about 2 weeks ago) and they had both Steven A and Bucher(I think) on that episode. He brought it up to Steven A who shot it down, and he didn't even mention it to Bucher. Actually near the end of the episode he sort of softened his stance on the whole thing.

On a side note, while I like their show, they are both honest to goodness football and baseball guys. They are not real basketball guys, so when it comes to basketball, take what they say with a grain of salt.

And your answer has no bearing on the actual context of the question. The thread took a turn towards judging LB on this season rather than his whole body of work. Read the whole post bro, and everything that led up to it.

Isn't that exactly what he did in Philly?

mistake #1: if he thought new york is just an extension of what happened in philly

take this with a grain of salt....you dont have to be a basketball guru to give your opinion on what you think is the obvious. those views were stated on this forum long before greeny said anything

I agree and it is an opinion. Just because Greeny says it, that is only proof that he shares an opinion on it. Not that his opinion holds any truth or merit, or should be used as "proof" in any tpe of debate. That is like me and you debating a point, and I use Rich's or Silver's or Martin's or whoever's posted opinion to back up my argument because they said it.
