Frank Williams wasnt picked by every draft analysis to be in the 10 team. He also wasnt regarded as the pest PG prospect in the draft.

he was in a stronger draft. Jay Williams was top PG in that draft class.

crzy.. regardless, I'm behind this guy 100%. We need a hardnosed guy. It tooks Rodman 3-4 years to really become an impact player, and there's not way RB gets that much time in this organization. The NBA has just changed in that regard, and we arent patient.

We have a lot of scorers though... it will be interesting to see how this guy plays in the summer next to Lee, Nate, Frye and Collins (pretty good starting 5).

everybody is pulling for balkman. he already should have a huge chip on his shoulder and he has some pressure on him. i hope he responds. he's the type of player we need more of on this team.

These picks are "building a team" type of picks. You know. The same thing that Isiah gets BLASTED for not doing in his tenure.

While I agree with anyone who doesn't like the value. If they are part of a long range "PLAN" then I can't complain to much.

I agree with this. the thing about value is valid, but we went for "value" with the francis trade and then francis went out and destroyed his value for us. also, it's a weak draft, 20 teams passed on Marcus Williams, there's no saying he actually had trade value.

I'm with DJ and the rest of you regarding RB. I'm going to be behind him bigtime and hope like hell he becomes a cult hero.

I dont think Francis was going for value. Quite the opposite. Look around the league and teams are more and more shy of max players, and sub-stars that with attitude problems. KMart, Zach and Dampier all come to mind.
