I'd like to see what Nate and our other rookies from last year do this season with a coach that actually wants to improve the team from game to game. We should keep our sophomores unless an awesome deal falls on our laps.

Bye Nate, I won't miss your celebrating a dunk while the team is being killed by 20 points and your well below average defense.

Mardy Collins would be the perfect backcourt mate for any of our guards now...
Steph/Collins
Jamal/Collins
Nate/Collins
Q1/Collins

Well, Isiah he can also guard the 3, so he can split time with Bolkman too.

package him get him out of here. I want collins & crawford to play more minutes. No room for a 5-5 SG/mascot on this team. I can live with Francis as 6th man if we can't trade him but there's absolutely no room for Nate

See.. I don't understand these posts. Did you actually watch the games last year? The guy scored, hustled, defended.. and got his shot when-ever he wanted. He was the most effective scorer we had in the beginnings of games in the last quarter of the year.

Hold on, when did Nate Robinson EVER defend. Your right about the hustling and scoring but Nate Robinson defended NOBODY. He let up as many points as he scored nightly.

dude, now you are just being sarcastic. Steph, Jamal, Francis are all good for at least 3 minute a piece at PG, and that puts Collins at his 40 minute PER average when he was at Temple. Perfect.

Hmm... I was thinking about it - the Knicks aren't THAT different from the Mavericks, at least when it comes to a sheer abundance of guards/wing players.

They made it to the finals w/ Stackhouse/Howard/Daniels/Griffin/Harris/Armstrong/Terry (I still may have missed a player). Their depth and acceptance of their roles made them so strong.
Daniels had a breakout rookie year, only to be relegated to the bench the next few. Armstrong spent a lot of time on the pine, same goes for Griffin, Harris, and Stackhouse.

The main difference is we have a lot of young guys who are still trying to make their mark on the league... and few veterans who've accepted their fates as role players - rightly so-- Marbury and Francis are still too good to be giving it only 80%.

Nate is an odd figure - I bet as a f/t starter, he could have averaged close to what Chris Paul did... he's just so unique as a player that he just becomes a pain in the neck on both ends of the court. Few, if any, players in the NBA have the lateral speed and explosive acceleration that Nate does. We saw it several times where he lost the ball and recovered before the defender could even react.

I'd like to introduce you to nyk4ever also known as the LB quote repeater.

Before LB said something, if you were a knick fan you were jumping for joy when he dunked as well.

Just like everyone at the garden was doing.

But, LB admonished it, so, nyk4ever admonishes it.

Maybe you can just put a link to the original quote nyk4aslongaslbiscoach.
