Its stupid to have him coach. Its petty to make him do it when thats not whats best.

I am spit, I want them to win, but if we do is it the real deal, or fabricated short term instant gradification starphuch kinda of thing.

Then what, Isiah goes back in the tunnel and Herb becomes coach?

This organization has lost its credibiilty.

I will watch the games but they have to win be back.

They must earn my trust. The deserve nothing more.

This ain't Green Bay, we got choices! And you don't give me an honest effort, Im watching Vince!

I want Idiot Dolan to hire a basketball executive that actually knows what he's doing.

I'll take that as a "I want isiah to fail next season"

Thanks for voting.

Islesfan - who are your top three alternative executives "who know what they are doing"?

I want him to succeed because I want the Knicks to succeed. I dont care who owns/operates/coaches the team as long as they win and show some NEW YORK PRIDE.

not at all, and just like you wouldn't want Isles to form your opinion, stay away from others.

I want the Knicks to win but in no way do I want Isiah back. If he succeeds as coach and grows the young guys, keep him there and bring in a real Pres.

Translation: I despise Isiah Thomas. If the young players he selected don't suceed it is because he is a horrible evaluator of talent. If the players he assembled suceed it is only because they transcend his incompetence as a leader.

I want a REAL (insert defeinition here) President.

Succeed...I want the Knicks to win. They suck so bad now.

It is Dolan who is to blame. remember he ran Checketts out, then JVG. He has no clue as to what he is going. NONE.

I'd like the focus to get off these people and on to the club. I don't really give a sht about Dolan Isiah or Larry Brown. Its my opinion that these people have self-servingly taken the Knicks team hostage from the fans. Larry Brown and Isiah are media whores, while Jimmy D continues to prove every day that he belongs very far from the *MSG* portion of Cablevision.

your translator is bad earl. Talent evaluator is only part of Isiah's job. Trades, direction setting, and signings are also a part of it. If you do draft young having a environment that those players can grow under a single head coach helps out tremdously. If it's younger and more athletic, where do JJ, MoT, Jalen, Francis fit in? Is a GM just supposed to lay down to whatever a coach says?

Martin - don't trades and signings fit UNDER evaluation of talent?

How do you define "direction setting" and, other than the immediate, how can you predict the results of any three to five year plan?

The roster is unquestionably younger and will get younger tomorrow night. JJ, MoT, Jalen and Francis are the exceptions and NOT the leading the Knicks trend of talented players who are 26 and under.

Earl, I am saying that trades and signings are MORE than just talent evaluation.

If I think Josh Howard is very good talent at pick 29 in the draft but I sign him a MAX deal, that's good talent evaluation but bad GMing cause he is not worth that. Just as with not protecting the Curry picks or signing JJ. Part of putting together a roster is not duplicating talent. If we are for the young guys like Crawford and Nate and just traded for Q and have Marb on the roster, why bring in Francis?

I want Isiah to succeed but if he's going to succeed he's going to have to magically turn this roster of career malcontents into winners and defensive-minded basketball players which just isn't going to happen.

nyk4ever - Channing Frye a career malcontent?

Check the under-26 dudes on the roster. THEY are the Knicks future.

I'm glad you found maybe 3 players on the roster that aren't malcontents. The Under26 players might be the Knicks future but they certainly aren't going to be the future for awhile because there are still players like Marbury, Francis, Rose, Taylor, Rose on this team and as long as they are around, they are going to want to play and if they don't play they will continue to be cancers(aside from Rose) just like they've been their whole careers.
