The new realgm mock has sene falling to us at 20 and us taking him and Shawne Williams at 29...Basically it said Isiah has too many players now and that he should draft projects and let them develop in the NBDL.

I dont think the draft is here to save us or any other team in the short term. But like Oak said, we could walk out with INTANGIBLE players like sene---we simply dont have anything like him, or maybe a talent falls like JJ Ronnie Brewer or Marcus Williams far enough where we can make a move.

Unless Im getting Duncan Lebron James Dwight Howard KG, Im not really interested in bringing in expensive *good* talent. If were going to pay, pay someone who is worth the $$$$$$ and adding up cheap rookies is one way to acquire a star.

Sene 6-11 bare footed, 7ft in shoes with 7-8.5 wingspan and 9-5 standing reach. Athletic, hard-working guy with incredible upside.

Imagine young Mutombo playing next to Frye.

yeah, this is pretty much my pick if he's there.

If we can get him at 20, you got to do it.

I would love Sene, everything I've read/heard about him suggests that he has a great work ethic, picks things up quickly, and he certainly has the physical tools to be a very good player. When you have a guy like that who wants to be the best player he can be and has that much athletic ability and height, you almost can't go wrong taking a gamble on someone like that at 20.

If JJ did fall though, I have to admit, I would be tempted.

I wouldn't be mad if the Knicks took Reddick, but I would be mad if they took Reddick and there was a more athletic sharpshooter available.

Exactly how I feel Bigpimpin.... I like him but if Ager's still on the board at 20, do you pick JJ Reddick over him? I don't.

I don't like him. Saw him have too many off nights even in college. Won't be able to creat his own shot in the NBA. Too slow, too Dukish for success in the NBA. See Christian Laettner, Danny Ferry.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

yes. he is not like the other guys on this roster in that he is a WINNER and a leader, two things we need. he can also shoot from the outside, whcih we really need. when was setephon most effective here, when he had shooters to kick out to, Redick would give him that. Redick also plays off the ball more than on, we need that kind of player. and he would bring a good attitude to this team, anyone who watches duke a lot, can tell you about the kind of leader he is. so assuming we could then trade out some of our glut (which granted wont be easy) J.J is a better fit here than our other current shooting guards.
