Once again, you going to take McK1's (i.e. hater)
opinion on that last year in indiana,

and in the play-offs year 3 of Isiah's tenure when they were bombed out the gym by 6th seed Boston, those guys looked like strangers out there for the most part of that series. IMO he lost most of those guys.

or Donnie Walsh's
opinion? By the say, he was the GM at the time:
In the end, Brown admitted he had to beg players to play. Thomas shouldn't have that problem. During his three seasons with Indiana, he established strong relationships with many players, starting with his star, Jermaine O'Neal. Unlike Brown, he rarely knocked players and, in return, got their loyalty. Still, he never got the Pacers out of the first round of the playoffs, including his final season when they were the higher seed and lost in six games to the Celtics.
"But that year, we had a lot of the same problems we had this season with our team," said Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh. "We had lot of internal, chemistry-type things that were going on that were not Isiah's fault. So I don't blame him for what happened."
